According to the four charts given on the information sheet, we can see some variety about visitors home countries and the length of stay in days they spent from 1996 and 2006.
First of all, let's begin on the top two charts .In 1996, there was a total of 200 thousand tourists in Sweden from Northern Europe , and this rose to 250 thousand in 2006, an increase of 25 percent; The number of Asians came to Sweden for a visit varied sharply from 50 thousand to 100 thousand in these two years, this 100 thousand statistic was double the figure for 1996; what can be also illustrated is the sum of visitors from Australia went up to 125 thousand while it was 75 thousand in 1996. Only the number of visitors from the USA or Canada did neither grow or drop, it was steadily 100 thousand.
As can be shown from the bottom two charts, and all of these statistics are on average .Visitors from Northern Europe spent one less day in Sweden in 2006 than they did in 1996; Asian people liked to stay one more day than before, in 1996 they stayed 2 days and in 2006 it shot to 3 days; People who came from USA/Canada were more delighted to spend two more days in 2006 than 5 days in 1996 they spent , the days Australians stayed descended to 5 while it was 7 in 1996.
These charts indicate the number of visitors from all over the world only the USA/Canada kept growing and the days spent in touring by visitors increased around the world except Australia and Northern Europe, the figures of them even decreased. It demonstrates the total of tourists from Northern Europe was the most , the number of Asians was the least , then Australians. In addition Asian people had the shortest length of stay and the days Northern Europeans stayed had descended to the same length as Asians in 2006. But visitors from USA/Canada seem like to stay in Sweden more days , it is longer than others. On the contrary, Northern European and Australian did not want to stay more than before.
From the analyses above , we can arrive at the conclusion that Americans and Canadians are feasible to spend more time enjoying their visit in Sweden, they also want to make sure that they had a more enjoyable time there. but people from Northern Europe, Asia and Australia are inclined to stay Sweden less days , Maybe the reason why American and Canadian’s like to say longer is to enjoy their stay.
