Kyle Miner is a former employer of mine. As a friend of Kyle Miner's you are not likely to want to help me, but as I have exhausted most of my legal options I am forced to appeal to the good nature of those he calls friends. I broke a rib in late 2011 and went to work for Kyle Miner in Feb of 2012 as soon as I was healed enough to get back to work. He never paid me for that work. When I asked him for the money he threatened me via text message and I filed a police report. I was already penniless. It sent me into an financial nosedive that I have not recovered from since. I am currently on welfare. Kyle Miner has been hiring men from "craigslist.org" to work for him and routinely skipping out on paying them, and then collecting the money from the contracts of the work done by others. Below is a copy of a letter sent to me by the province of British Columbia that will outline the situation for you. "Dear Mr. --------: Re: Kyle Miner and Robert Miner carrying on business as RRM Forming The Employment Standards Branch (the Branch) has not received payment from Kyle Miner and Robert Miner carrying on business as RRM Forming in response to the Determination issued on October 17, 2012 in the total amount of $5225.92, representing wages, interest, and penalties. Your former employer has not filed an appeal with the Employment Standards Tribunal. Your file has been assigned to me for collection. Your Determination has been filed in British Columbia Supreme Court, along with a Write of Seizure and Sale. I have sent the Writ to the Court Bailiff for collection. This can be a lengthy process and there is no guarantee of success. Please keep the Branch informed of any change in your address or telephone number in the event the Bailiff is successful in collecting part or all of the Writ amount. Kyle Miner owes me a considerable amount of money and I've been living in poverty waiting for it. I can't afford dental work, I was unable to buy anybody in my family Christmas presents this year, and my life has been Hell waiting for this money. If any of you have a shred of human decency you will PLEASE contact me with his whereabouts or information pertaining to my case so that I can get my money and carry on with my life. Not being paid is NOT an option. This message doesn't even mention the tools of mine he stole. He took everything from me. I will never stop pursuing this. I realize that this message leaves me open to potentially be victimized further and that it may irritate him or one of you enough to do something cruel. I urge you not to do this.
