Friends | kberry: So, I got recruited to do a job in PA and once I relocated there, I found out that I didn't actually get the job. Basically, they recruited me to do a job...avionics harness building...and had me do a test via phone. I passed. They failed to tell me there'd be a hands on test when I got there. I mean, they did ask me if I was confident in harness making, and I was! But, unfortunately, I had no idea how complicated harnesses got, because I was only confident in what I'd learned...I had no idea they got more complicated than pins, wires, and cannon plugs...there were complicated splices and whatnot that I'd never seen before. Needless to say, I couldn't build the harness. So, after thousands of dollars later, I'm at square one (back at home in GA and jobless) haha. The good news is that I saw what I'd be doing and it was mundane, menial, and ridiculously repetitive...I'd have hated life. So, I'm really not that upset. 9 years ago • Reply • Report • Link Collapse Show Comments (4) 0 Dawn: Well at least there's a silver lining to it! If it was meant to be then it would've happened. Perhaps faith saved you from a completely boring job 9 years ago • Reply • Report 1 kberry: Lol it reminded me of something you'd see on tv in a Chinese sweat shop haha. Really am happy to be back in GA. Hopefully something better will pop up. 9 years ago • Reply • Report 1 kberry: Oh and hey Dawn !! 9 years ago • Reply • Report 1 Dawn: Hello well good ole GA is probably happy to have you back 9 years ago • Reply • Report 0 |
