jewsarechosen: Were you ever told why you were banned? I have found that most sites do not even bother to explain. They simply ban you because they hate some truth that you told.

gansaw to Harpalycus: You know what, when you talk about the universe A and B, you are assuming that there is such things as "evil" and "good". May be you should try to know how "evil" and "good" came into being before you ask that question. As long as you are assuming there are such thing as 'evil" and "good", you are also assuming that there are two different "choices". Well..without freewill, how do you know! I believe in my God. And I love Him.

gansaw to Harpalycus: In case if you still think God is always looking for a chance to judge people, please read this verse from the Bible. "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:17"

Harpalycus: No Gan, you must read what is said (and by the way fairy tales has never been a description of mine). You must distinguish between what someone thinks and a critique of an argument. When I say that is not fair of God, I am not accepting the existence of such a being, which I do not, but saying that, in terms of YOUR definition of God as good, merciful, just etc., that that behaviour is contradictory. Which is one of the many reasons that I do not believe in him.

gansaw to Harpalycus: When God says " I love you. I have prepared a heaven for you", you reply "ah..nonsense. Fairy tales!". But when God says "Hey, I'll have to punish you for your sin", you reply "God..that is not fair.".

gansaw to Harpalycus: Sir,

I have much respect for you. Thank you for discussing with me today.
I understand your argument. In fact there are a sect of Christians who believe that God has predestined some people to go to hell and some to heaven. They are called Calvinists (people who believe in Calvinism). It is some kind of Christian determinism.

However according to the Bible, God has never predestined anyone to go into hell. God has given "freewill" to the people. And He wants people to choose him by using freewill. And He always does tell people not to choose sin.

God knows that there is nothing compared to the joy in knowing that a person has chosen Him by an intentional choice made by his own freewill.

In fact God by His Freewill chose to love people even though we are just His creations. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Respectfully,
Gansaw

gansaw to Harpalycus: Gansaw chooses A. Therefore God has created a world where Gansaw would choose A.
Harpa chooses B. Therefore God has created a world where Harpa would choose B.
That is your logic.

Then why wouldn't you choose "A" when you know that God wants you to choose "A". Or you think that God has made you to choose "B" all the while when God is telling to you through me that you must choose "A"? God has been telling you to choose "A".

Yes, God created a world where Adam and Eve chose "B". But you haven't read the whole story yet. Adam and Eve chose "A" and went back to God before thy died. They repented. And repentance is what God seeks from a human.

If you still thinks God has created a world where you would choose "B", you are not making sense. Because you keep choosing "B" even though God has been telling you to choose "A". You are just blaming God for your choice. You can't do it, pal. Your choice brings what you deserve.

Even if you still think God created a world where you would choose "B", keep in mind that He is still giving you a chance to choose "A". It is not too late yet.

Harpalycus: Gansaw, this is not said sarcastically or angrily, but you really need to do some classes, read some books, whatever, on elementary thinking skills. And the first thing you MUST do is to try and read what people say rather than creating it from your own imagination. I did get the sense last night that you were trying to do this at times, which, if I was right, was good. Learn to listen to other peoples' views and argue the case, not the person. It doesn't mean that you have to agree with them. But you have to listen to their argument and meet it full on, answering their points and giving your own, not resort to juvenile name calling.
You once more quote the Bible, but this is meaningless in a discussion with someone who is of the opinion that the Bible is a group of all too human books written in a historical and social context that is long gone, incoherent, contradictory and decidedly immoral (before you leap in and accuse me of contradicting myself REMEMBER that I patiently explained that I think morality is relative but that I have my own moral code that I THINK is right, though accepting this cannot be demonstrated by my own definition). If you wish to use the Bible as an authority you must first convince me that it is the inerrant word of God. Good luck with that. Otherwise we are simply arguing past one another because our fundamental positions are based on different premises. Simple thinking skills required, as I said.
Finally you say that you have the Truth. If so, I am afraid that you are making a remarkably poor job of expressing it. I am prepared to listen to any argument (i.e. proper debate and not an exchange of insults) and to accept it or give cogent reasons why I do not. Are you prepared to do the same? I am afraid the evidence suggests otherwise, but I can be hopeful.
