Being WAY TOO LOUD in my cousins spare bedroom with her best friend after a night at the club and woke up her bf's brother in the next room. We didn't know he was there. Then we left a condom for her to find later. Wasn't happy. Laughed our asses off.

TAG YOU'RE IT! IF YOU READ THIS YOU HAVE TO DO IT

the art of losing with whatever dignity is left

i know a woman with everything
can feel as lost
as a man with nothing
and the soundtrack to a life of loss
will always play
with just 3 chords.

how do you say you've taken a step
when you know you've never moved
and all you really want to do
is hide within yourself
but still we get up.

Broken

I heard the promise, forever and ever
Didn't realize there was a "However"
With all that i had given up
somehow becomes not enough

so where to start, how to move on
everything i had is so long gone
but i take a step, follow a path
my world is shaken, fragile as glass.

For those whose voices go unheard.

My neighbor has a dog. It barks a lot.
All the other neighbors around stick their heads out the windows of their safe little houses and yell at the poor dog to shut up. What can i do?
Although it has crossed my mind that i should walk over to the owner and let him know that enough is enough, here's $100 for the dog, it's mine now, and don't ever get another one.

Now here's my perspective on the situation as i have observed; 'they' have had the dog for about 2 or 3 years. It DOES NOT ever go into the house, the kids NEVER play or show positive attention to the dog. Instead i have witnessed; stabbing into the kennel with a stick, kicking soccer balls at the kennel wall (dog going berzerk), and kicking the ball directly at the dog chained to a post.
This poor animal has been subjected to the worst kind of cruelty, neglect, and i can hear the pain. We all can if we just listen, but i've had to learn.

I adopted a beautiful golden lab/great pyranese (?) named Polar, and he had a lot of baggage. When i first saw him at the SPCA i knew it had to be him. I saw so much potential for a really great dog. So when i inquired as to his availability they informed me that if he wasn't adopted soon they would have to euthenize him. Their 'trainer' deemed him unsafe with children, cats, and most people (men). lol
I took him for a walk, but not after a bit of convincing. It helped to have my GF there as Poe was more a ladies man so they relented and away we went. The second we opened the cage he stood, tail-wagging, and waited for his leash. Needless to say, i was floored right there. On-leash he was a perfect gentleman. Didn't pull, wasn't rushed, even as excited as he was and he kept is eyes on us the whole way. He's was my best friend for a lot of years.

Now, as far as baggage goes, i have to admit that he was a great dog but.....it took work. You were not allowed to touch his tail, his rule he strictly enforced, and you did not grab anything from his mouth that was food, again his rule yada-yada. But i trained him, and once you understood his way of thinking he just became a super-star. Again, lots of work. But the most rewarding kind.

The neighbors dog is so starved for affection that it constantly barks and yet has absolutely no social skills except to listen to master or get beat. I know. I've seen it all before.

to be concluded...
