deleting/hiding posts of others

TuLiPz P: hi mods, i have a question, would it be possible to permanently hide the posts some place on their homepage,? i hide them cos i dont need to see every fart and they pop up again when anybody reacts to them, kinda annoys me in the long run. thanks if i get an answer

TuLiPz P: cannot delete what other people post on their own walls, all i can do is hide or collapse it, but they keep popping up when others comment

KitCat10: I had to remove some ppl because they post too much....

lilly of the valley: ive deleted friends because their posts annoyed me and im still getting new posts from them

TuLiPz P: i guess i was just in time with my question, as of yesterday we can hide those posts and they indeed stay hidden no matter how many of their friends reacted to it, bless the wire MODS, thanks so much, will spare me lots of staggering and aggrivation

KitCat10: but there still is that annoying thing. When they change their profile picture it comes back on the wall and agian one by one have to hide them...

TuLiPz P: yes i agree, getting noticed others change their profile pictures, some do it every day others even several times a day, very irritating, MODS? an idea to make it an option for hiding anybodies proifile picture change?????

KitCat10: besides I have no desire seeing their new or old profile pics once I have removed them

Robot Seb: Clicking "Hide" on the posts should permanently hide those posts but for images it creates a new post each time they change their image so the old one is indeed hidden but it doesn't stop the new ones from appearing.

Best option is to click hide whenever you see stuff like that or remove the user entirely by removing them off your friend's list so you dont have to see any posts or updates.

KitCat10: Removing ppl keeps the new posts coming up, but I still get the profile picture changes off my wall too. The same ppl who post too much do change their profile picture daily if not more often!

Robot Seb: Hmmm, this gives me an idea to solve the feed posts issue along with a few others in a rather simple way.

TuLiPz P: hahahaha i am afraid i know what ya mean there

Robot Seb: It's a programmer thing, it can be done by 1 line of code. I'm working on it now and going to submit the concept to the admins which might be a possible fix for all feed items that you dont want to see including joining clubs on your profile that hasn't been fixed yet. My idea would solve that.

TuLiPz P: nope, nothing at all so far, actually i am getting a bit disappointed, am also often showing 'away' while actually being offline, and also get emails when people send me a message, while i have that option 'OFF'
