I think we need to take a look at Wireclub Gold again..

S P A D E S
S P A D E S: With crawlers able to obviously detect known duplicate accounts for which aren't hiding behind proxies (Yes this blatantly continues in certain game rooms - its almost scummy.. But what are you to do? Its their own niche and mental that tells them they need an upper-hand in electric gaming, so I don't mind nor could I help it if I wanted to) With that said - the rumor or motive we got from the adjustment to gold was to prevent scum like that from gaming in multiples. .. If all the aforementioned is true - why do we still have to pay an almost exceedingly amount to be able to honestly share our winnings ? I'm not talking credits - you can keep that Gold Member only. Not many people beg for those. I'm talking simple gaming cards and chips. If regular users still have the ability to share cards and gaming tokens, it would encourage more to game, buy credits themselves (meh.. maybe) or even upgrade to Gold themselves (fat maybe). It's become a stigma to the point that most will only share with others who have extra cash to spare.. To me 20 bucks is a good amount of money. That's half a phone bill. I'm not retired - I don't get money from the government - cash is tight. To maybe even limit the amount free users can share would be helpful. But simply just gaming objects can be shared instead of credits as well. What you could also do is as another user suggested - make one game for the Gold Members where only they may roam. Give Wireclub Gold more perks than just bonus credits on purchasing more, the ability to share credits and gold stripe. Oh.. Also an exclusive chat room I've never seen anyone in.. That's hardly a bonus and more of a burden. I notice that Mods have their blue stars - gold members have their gold stripes. What if you were to add more credit purchasable "avatar icons" like such ? Gold members can buy little animals, drink icons, objects etc to go in place of their stripe - or even elsewhere on their avatars. It would make for a little more personalization and encourage purchase.

S P A D E S: Post limiter.. -_-.
But with the trial and error I've seen Wireclub endure (I was invited to the beta site - I know the fun of it all) Why not give something different a try ? Admin, you're a man of reason; this much I know. If you've noticed any difference in traffic since you changed the standard it would always be worth a shot to try. I've noticed new users completely discouraged at the fact, not even wanting to stick around because of the premium to pay to play or share. Per my antisocial introverted ways I spend a good amount of time on here when I'm not working on projects or actually with the people I care about. I notice a lot of things that most wouldn't even look twice at. I actually listen to gripes and thoughts people have and just being me - I have no choice but to just say "accept it as such." Being one of the most honest, loyal, helpful and respected individuals here; I feel that maybe my words have a difference. Why not try something different?

Robot Seb: The easy answer is when a user buys credits, they have the option to use it as they desire but when it's promotional or free items and credits, it's restricted from being transferred because a few people would make tons of accounts to send all that stuff to their main account. It is the way it is to prevent the system from being taken advantage of. Sorry.

Robot Seb: Most of the members do play fairly but unfortunately it's the few which have played unfairly that lead to the transfer restrictions.

Robot Seb: Wireclub was once a place that didn't have game rooms, credits, even super powers or badges. Those are more or less extra features of the site to enhance the experience but at the core, Wire is all about socializing and sharing common interests with friends via chats, blogs, forums, and profiles where we all interact with one another.

S P A D E S: So anything under 20 dollars is just promotional. Got it.
They used to be considered donations as well. You can look at it how you want but the only difference between this and an internet casino is that wire lacks the option to cash out.
You misworded something though. Wire used to be a place all about socializing etc etc. Now it rests on a nice soft cash core. Server costs are understandable. Account abuse prevention, understandable. The fact that even a minimum purchase won't give you the ability to share, greed. Im not saying open the doors to completely free sharing again. But to make sharing more feasible while still deterring dupers as you will have to make a minimum payment. I'm certain even the most savvy of scum wouldn't want the same numbers floating on dozens of accounts. Dupers arent going anywhere. Instead of hurting the honest ones, rod would make more coin having them even making a minimum 5 dollars for say 15 days. They close that account, open a new one, hey another 5 bucks. Increase sales and they'll cut out their own losses. They'll tire themselves out account after account. And the servers all being paid up. + more.
