loui11: SANTOS F.C. (BRAZIL) - For those who dont know it, shame on you. Here i send some reasons to root for Santos:

1. Most genuine brazilian soccer (biggest national champion);

4. Won Libertadores da América 2011 (for those who dont know libertadores is the Latin American international championship, like UEFA champions league but harder i guess);

5. More than 11700 goals in the whole history (the world's highest number);

6. Represents a naturally beautiful, modern and historical city, Santos, which has vital importance to Brazil's history. Hosted the first immigrants (italians, japaneses, lebaneses, arabs, africans) and had been the main link between Brazil and the whole world till the middle of 20th century.

7. in the 60's, the classic Santos of Pelé played in Congo, Africa, during a civil war. They STOPPED THE WAR to watch them play.

8. IF U REALLY LIKE SOCCER PAY ATTENTION TO NEYMAR AND GANSO; Those guys are going to be our next gift to soccer history.
