WHAT IS A SUITABLE PENSION TO RETIRE ON

dave3974: I HAVE THE CHANCE TO RETIRE VERY EARLY [ IN THE UK] , I HAVE NO DEBTS, BUT WONDER IF THE PENSION WILL BE ENOUGH, WHAT WOULD YOU consider reasonable to RETIRE ON, i have trouble deciding?

Morsy: Bugger all lol My working life was half way through before they brought in superannuation so I would still require a pension........

Animal Lover: Dunno about retiring early but, by the time most people have reached State Retiral Age, they don't need much - they have everything already - so can live much cheaper.

Morsy: Not all Ally, depends on a lot of factors.....I for one will struggle because of circumstances.....not everyone has all that need upon retiring.

apollonian: retired 2 years ago with pension half my salary. It is becoming a struggle but manageable.If your debt free and have no major future expenses(kids tuitions , weddings etc.,doctors bills). But to enjoy my hobbies of travelling and Harleys need to find a way to pick up extra incomes. Have a plan before you do, so be prepared to cut back.
