Words Of Wisdom James_Bong: I didnt see this up there. A place where people can put wise words for people to see in they'er tough times and go "ahhhh Ill be fine " Please no religion. This is self help. And wisdom is for growing. Not blind faith. Feel free to push the wisdom down further with good old conversation though, cause it will still be there somewhere. peachiejack: That is so true. Everyday is a new day so why not make it a great one and use it to appreaciate all the little things so many of us take for granted. James_Bong: Exactly, Its like if theres tough times an its like "when is this going to end" but when you get there its here. And then your past it, but your still here. so why make it then? when then is only to become now anyway. shesayslolsoiloveher: Thinking and planning for tomorrow (for future) put the power of uncertainty in question. The degree of extent we think and plan for the future (tomorrow) generally equates the degree of extent we undermine uncertainty. peachiejack: I love that last one as well. Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood. I truely believe that everything happens for a reason and we meet people for a reason. We may not always know what that reason is but have faith that in time it will reveil itself. Look for the lesson to be learned for if we don't learn we are bound to repeat until we do. franklin1950: study those things that bridge the gap between ignorance and knowledge. between the tangible and the intangible. moosetracks213: I could REALLY use some insight. Please look at my blog. http://mysecretlifeexposed-kelly.blogspot.com/ MrSteveA67: From personal experience, with regard to looking for a good partner and possibly saving some unnecessary heartache and regret - be confident and go after what you're looking for. (Now if I could only take my own advice! ) Oh, here's a more common cliche that holds some truth "Easier said than done!" Animal Lover: I've got a female friend who lives her life in a series of 4 year plans. Seems to work for her. I'm at a loss at the moment cos I am grieving terribly over the loss of my beloved dog who was my constant companion of 11 and a half years. She went everywhere with me. Even my ca seems to be grieving - he's hardly eating. Is it that he is picking up my low mood, I wonder? | Self-Improvement Chat Room Similar Conversations |
