Male Pattern Baldness

Metaverseguy
Metaverseguy: A lot of people become bald. Some 1/4 men at age 30 and then 1/2 after 50 start to bald or have a receding hairline. Of course there are wigs, toupees, surgery to try and hide and cover the bald spots. Others just shave their whole head with a bic razor. It's kind of fashionable.

While some people don't care a lot of people don't want to go bald. Mainly there is rumors that women don't like bald guys. Makes them look older and less attractive. Baldness affects women in rare cases but mainly men.

Scientists have discovered the chemical that stops growth of the hair follicle, DHT. This is used during development to grow male organs. A lot of studies have tried to find the best solution. A couple of pills and medications inhibit DHT, regrow lost hair and stop new hair from falling out.

Although, I was reading personal experiences the other day and a few guys lost some hair and started taking the pill to recover their scalp. Some had some side effects. Others didn't really experience many. I was under the impression that this problem was completely cured and anyone that wants to go from bald to hairy can just wipe Rogaine on their scalp and be good the next morning.

Do you think better solutions will be found soon, or is it good enough already?
