lori100: Don Phillips was in the Air Force at Las Vegas Air Force Base during an event when UFOs were seen moving at enormous speeds near Mt. Charleston, northwest of Las Vegas. In addition, he worked with Kelly Johnson at the Lockheed Skunkworks -- on design and construction of the U-2 and SR-71 Blackbird. He testifies that we not only have these extraterrestrial devices, but have also achieved tremendous technological advances from their study. He states that in the 1950's and 1960's, NATO did research into the origin of ET races, and disseminated reports to the leaders of various countries. He lists a few of the technologies we were able to develop because of ETs: computer chips, lasers, night vision, and bulletproof vests. Mr. Phillips now develops technologies that can help eliminate environmental pollutants and reduce the need for fossil fuels.

lori100: He ^^^ said...they all signed oath agreements, but it doesn't mean some info can't be told for the benefit of humanity. He said the energy grid of the Earth has been mapped, and that energy systems are starting to be used to clear toxins and pollution from the planet, also that NASA has a 'certain' thing brought from inside the Earth mentioned in mythology and are trying to duplicate it, and that some native people have had contact with ets for hundreds or thousands of years.....(many native tales of star people).

Corwin: I have a window to a parallel universe in my bathroom. Every morning I see this guy who looks just like me and imitates my every move. But when I try to push my hand pass the threshold between the two universes, he's one step ahead of me and holds his hand up against mine and presses back just as hard.

I'm hoping to eventually catch him with his back turned and sneak past him.
I guess that gives me a hobby.

lori100: Buck Sergeant Pretko was trained in communications and served at Hickam Field in Hawaii. In the early '50s at an outdoor theater with over 250 people present nine silver disks were seen by everyone randomly moving over the entrance to Pearl Harbor. The event lasted for about 10 minutes. At another time he explains that he befriended one of General Douglas MacArthur's personal security guards who told him that MacArthur had seen the craft and extraterrestrial bodies from the Roswell crash.

lori100: Colonel Phillip Corso, Sr. was an Army intelligence officer who served on Eisenhower's National Security Council. After his 21 year military career he served as a military analyst. Colonel Corso personally saw deceased extraterrestrials from the Roswell crash in 1947 and a UFO craft at an airbase. He had also seen UFOs travel at 4,000 miles an hour on radar. When he worked in R&D, he was given fragments of extraterrestrial technologies from various crashes and his job was to seed industry with these technologies telling them they were from earthly foreign sources.

Science has already made so much progress and will most likely soon will know our new brothers and sisters with whom we will exchange a sign of peace. On that day there will be wonder and remember that God is one and watching over us all. "

LiptonCambell: Sure, it's plausible that life exists elsewhere in the universe- not proven, but plausible. But INTELLIGENT life?

Of all the lifeforms that have ever existed on Earth, 99% of them are extinct. They vary from microscopic, to bizarre creatures that are vastly different from us in millions of different ways- if Life itself were a 24 hour clock, mankind would appear on the scene a few minutes before midnight- to suggest that the universe must be occupied with species that resemble ourselves, and to condone others as being arrogant to believe otherwise, is ignoring the entirety of the history of Earth. We are more likely to find creatures we could not even imagine, than to find creatures akin to us.

LiptonCambell
LiptonCambell: I'm not saying they look like us- I'm saying that, of all the species in the history of Earth, only mankind has the level of intelligence to be self-aware to this point. This is Billions upon Billions upon Billions of species, all striving towards not the most intelligent, but the most adapt to survive- and only one reaching that level.

Suggesting this happens again and again in the universe is missing the grand history of life on our planet.

I'm not saying it's wrong to think aliens would share our appearance(although that would equally be the same fallacy)- I'm saying it's wrong to think aliens would share the same characteristics as us- our intelligence- when in fact they would more than likely develop abilities and traits and characteristics so unique and bizarre that we could not even imagine them.

Corwin: Well, there is two ways you can look at that.... on the one hand we can say that of the billion species that have existed on the Earth, only one has evolved intelligence to a technological level... which gives you a billion-to-one ratio.

OR on the other hand we could say that of the only planet in the Universe that we know of that has life (Earth), this planet's life has evolved to a technological level... which gives you a one-for-one proposition.

But, considering the "24 hour clock" analogy of the Geologic Time Scale that Lipton mentioned, and that Man has only appeared only in the last couple of seconds before 24:00 (that's seconds, not minutes), and the fact that we don't know how long technological civilizations last (for all we know, we might destroy ourselves tomorrow)... it suggests that even if an intelligent civilization did exist elsewhere in our galaxy, it would be quite a long-shot for it to be appearing in the last couple of seconds of it's own 24 hour Geologic Clock coinciding with ours.

LiptonCambell: >>>But, considering the "24 hour clock" analogy of the Geologic Time Scale that Lipton mentioned, and that Man has only appeared only in the last couple of seconds before 24:00 (that's seconds, not minutes)

I tried confirming that prior to posting that last night- all i could find was an "universe clock" or an "Earth clock"- no "Life clock", which begins at the beginning of life.....so I was forced to lax the numbers a bit, or be forced to do the ACTUAL CALCULATIONS myself (!!!)

But I doubt it's seconds, not minutes. It's seconds when you include the extra 1/2 billion-or-so-years it took for life to first form....
