2012 end of world??? (Page 4) Geoff: The Jehovah's Witness movement was founded by a previous (and obviously failed) attempt to predict the end of the world. I dread to think what drivel-minded morons we will be subjected to as a consequence of this. I was trying to find an old quote about people today being no less credulous and superstitious than they were in the dark ages, but I can't find the one I am thinking of. However, I think it holds true to say that people are determined to still think whatever they want regardless of how much evidence and logic proves it false. I should also point out that there has never been any scientific evidence that animals can predict natural disasters any earlier than humans. And that the plural of anecdote is not data.
