xapim: intresting....theres abunch of answers that arnt acceptable or accepted for example where did diety come from ? diety was/is always there .that could be something accepted or not accepted. the explanations were neat of the evelutionizing, though im kinda a fan of supernatural things.....and i think the origin of life is supernatural thing.

smoke4ever: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He was with God in the beginning.

Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.

Geoff: Deuce, I feel that you are doing a disservice to farm animals. I don't think that sheep are guilty of the wilful stupidity needed to still cling to a literal interpretation of creationism.

//Edit - included the word "doing" in the first sentence, which subtly changed the target of my sarcasm.

xapim: matthew 7:7, is querering....did any one say god was created ? thats like did god create angels or was it always god and angels ?how did god lose control of the angels ?are they more powerful? i think in 1 peter it shows there was years between genisis1 an 2 as i think heavens and more heavens ? i think in 1,2 or 3rd john it says a Holy Ghost created.... asking questions is a way to figure out what this means or isn't it ? in john 20 24- somethin tomas a diciple needed to see the wombs of jesus for some reason and jesus appeared through the door . i think thats like asking who created god ? its a religious experience or belief or what have you....most of these people spoke arobic and rome was greek ,its just not great resources unless you can see with your own eye's or maybe be proven as credited work ??? genisis i think means origins years aand years to create probly long enough for evelutionizing......

Yan26: Well smoke4ever said that life was created by god. The standard argument for this is that life is too complex to have occurred naturally. But by this reasoning if God created life he himelf/herself must be an entity that is as complex as or more complex than us. So that would mean God cannot exist naturally in nature. So the question who created god?

smoke4ever: And by the way,

Seek the LORD while He may be found;
call on Him while He is near.

Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts.
Let him turn to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him,
and to our God, for He will freely pardon.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,"
declares the LORD.

"As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
