Islam IS a Religion that TEACHES Peace (Page 9) Zanjan: Muslims aren't against Christians - that's an overblown sense of importance on the part of Christians. In the Quran, Christians and Jews are a protected people because they're God-believers. Modern Muslims are quite confident they can hold their own in conversation with Christians about God stuff...they have nothing to fear. Muslims are against infidels (traitors). However, they've interpreted that according to their own desire. There are as many Islamic sects as there are Christian sects in the world - what they have in common is the inability to agree. That should tell you a lot. (Edited by Zanjan) mirja: Islam teaches peace so does many other religions and philosophies but how do we make ourselves to be in peace with each other regardless of what religion...thats the question Its true though that throughout the history the Islam has been the most peaceful of the big religions..no matter how it seems to us by the propaganda ..media etc larryhemeon: A wonderful thing, peace regardless of religion. Would be nice to have the complete truth from time to time Zanjan: Erk, people can't handle the complete truth. They find it offensive. So, let's not concern ourselves with things that are beyond most people's capacity. Stick to the basics - since people from all religions CAN be and ARE friends with each other, there's no excuse for those who don't want to be. Not one scripture of the Faith of God has said we should fight with people belonging to an other religion - NOT one. He's always said to do the exact opposite. God wouldn't tell you to do something you can't. larryhemeon: People are willing to believe in preception of the facts, its easier to tolerate ones self. larryhemeon: I do agree, moderation is certainly a key to peace, just need to try to be the best human we can be, difinitly all fall short of that glory, but we can try Zanjan: Unity is a willing, whole-hearted agreement on things that bring people together in friendship and mutual support - not on what sets them apart from others. There's nothing political about it - one doesn't vote for unity, nor is it based on that cowardly 'strength in numbers' for protection mentality. Unity doesn't mean sameness - one keeps their autonomy, culture and power while working co-cooperatively with every family member, group, agency, nation and country for the betterment of mankind. There's a lot to be learned about how unity operates and people need the training to learn that, starting at the grass roots level. Unity brings prosperity - prosperity doesn't mean capital, it means to thrive, to be healthy and to flourish. (Edited by Zanjan) larryhemeon: much like the unity of a family sure, everyone has something to gain by it, but until you add love, it will not last (Edited by larryhemeon) Zanjan: Yes, you can't have real unity without love for the other persons involved. Political unity is love for a thing, not a human. You need both. I totally LOVE the idea of peace and harmony; I LOVE contributions to society that will last well beyond my life time. I LOVE nature and will work my fingers to the bone to preserve it. If I want to see all these things brought into reality, why would I not LOVE humanity enough to put in that same effort and labour to achieve spiritual harmony? Nobody can do those things alone.....so, God has left instructions on how to do it together. Someone else may have started the ball rolling, or maybe it was me - it doesn't matter because the ball has left the building; had it not been for all those who touched that ball as it was going past, it would have ended up in the gutter. (Edited by Zanjan) ghostgeek: I don't know about this unity malarkey. It seems about the only thing people are agreed on is that they're against whatever it is you stand for. If God left instructions on how to do it together they seem to have got lost in the translation. larryhemeon: Actually there were directions of health properity and peace, seems that Israel lost the manual for maybe 300 years and they did not enjoy those benefits, Zanjan: "the only thing people are agreed on is that they're against whatever it is you stand for" Who's driving *that* bandwagon? It happens some have to learn the hard way; it's often the only way to get the most thorough understanding. Even so, one doesn't control time - dawdlers get left behind. You know, you always find your car keys in the very last place you looked. (Edited by Zanjan) chay chayi: Islam is based on 1) Rape 2) Forcing little girls, 9 year old girls, to marry old perv pigs 3) The entire concept of their Heaven is 72 virgins (all about perving) 4) Raping infidels 5) marrying 4 wives 6) Covering them self in the streets, to cover up their perveness at home Zanjan: Stop slandering God! Islam is based on spiritual principles; it's social laws were designed for the times, just like yours - ancient and now outdated, as they were intended to be. The only one you got right is # 5 and you don't even know why that is. chay chayi: 1) Marrying a 9 year old girl as religion, is Satan - Lilith 2) Heaven as a concept of 72 virgins, is Satan - Lilith, Paganic 3) Covering them self in the street, and a perv at home, is not God's way 1) Bowing to a stone in Mecca, saying that a stone fell from Heaven, is a lie and Paganism 2) Bowing in Jerusalem in the sight to Mecca, with their back to the Temple, is blasphemy and hypocrisy, Jerusalem and the Temple mount is where God chose for his worship and total presence, as he said in the Torah many times, and to Abraham and his true children (not Ishmael and Esov) (Edited by chay chayi) | Religion Chat Room 18 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
