What kinda stuff have you been watching? Its really not all like that, but if that is what you are into then that is fine too. I wasn't just on about muslims either - I think it abstinence affects people. catholic priests! - well thats for another forum maybe. There are also positive effects. There was some research done a few years ago about abstinence and genius - I dont remember who did it (maybe if I kept my pants on I would have). I do think abstinence has a lot to do with male attitiudes towards women. Not saying I would promote an all out free for all but I definatley dont like the idea of female circumcision. I dont like how female sexuality and bodily function is demonised. I dont like how we are doled out as sexual rewards in heaven. There is too much that is too alien to my culture and sensibilities as a modern human for me to want to grasp it as a lifestyle. I dont like the homophobia and racism that goes with Islam or any of the other religions for that matter. Religion seems to be all about control and has nothing to do with love and trust and understanding. I can not see an omnipotent god, who is everywhere and inside everything. The Alpha and the Omega, the word the truth and the light, getting proper wound up about some little scrote cracking one off. It makes no sense. I know for a fact this is not just Islam, the others are every bit as bad. look at the fuss everytime someone suggests women priests. The Sith lords in the Vatican get their knickers right in a twist about that. Why? Why do they make their nuns cover up their hair? Why are you supposed to have a special ceremony done by a priest when you have given birth, so that you can be cleansed of the evil and be allowed back in a church. It is outrageous. Seriously it should be illegal on sexual discrimination terms. I really do hope there is no afterlife, cos as a woman I have a funny feeling I would be the one doing the dishes. john1576: Flashy.
