Spirit One
Spirit One: Satan is GOD [see 2nd Corinthians 4:4] ,if you can believe that ,you are closer to the spiritual truths that will give you true Salvation ,Satan is running the show [the religions] ,they are all of him ,he will discredit the truth by molesting and lying to all ,the POPE has on his Mitre Cap in LATIN ,'GOD HIMSELF IN THE FLESH' ,pretty feeble God if you ask me ,not Omnipotent at all ,certainly not Everliving -everlasting if he is replaced every few yrs because he dies . is that the GOD you believe in ,myself ,I don't believe in earthly GODS ,I only believe in He Who CREATED ME ,YAHWEH!

Whats not to understand, here you have an organization with over 4,000 known cases of abuse (less than 20% of victims ever come forward,so think 20,000 +)and everyone just wants to say it happens everywhere..

pfftt please..

As ive said before without anyone being able to answer me,name one organization who has such an appalling track record when it comes to 1st of all allowing peodophiles to fester in such large numbers (peodophile ring)...and then when they get caught out are allowed to remain in the organization, sometimes through cover ups and payoffs, and sometimes still allowed access to chidren, just in another church..

The heirachy has been qouted as liking peodophilia to alcoholism..

I mean wtf is going on in this religion..

If this was going on in a non religious organization, does anyone believe they would still be standing??

Icy_Uranus: I hope Richard Dawkins' plan of having the Pope arrested for crimes against humanity works, because your absolutely right Krash, if it was any other non-religious organisation they would have been shut down years ago. Cutting the head off this snake won't solve the problem but it will send a clear message that they aren't above the law.

I wonder who will be the 1st government to say enough is enough and cut them loose..

Ive posted elsewhere that the australian federal police and their german counterparts fear of a major peodophile ring operating within the church...

Just think... comments like that a few years ago would of resulted in lawsuits left right and centre..

And now nothing but silence from them..

Not hard to wonder why..

canada: The real reason why catholic priests are fighting so vigorously against a mandatory marriage, is that many of them are gay and would be exposed as such if they failed to find a life partner of the opposite s#^. Talk about a rotten organization...

john1576: Frozen in time. I agree with you. Catholic Priests are men who have sacrificed much to serve God and their country. Yet all they get here is the vilest abuse imaginable. Turns out now there is a paedophile scandal in the Boy Scouts of America. Baden Powell would be choking on his woggle.

waffle: Cardinal Bertone recently stated that "only gay priests are abusers", but failed to elaborate on his alleged connection between homosexuality and pedophelia.

Wonder what they will blame that on..

edmund_carey: I must say I have never heard of any "mandatory marriage" suggestion in the Catholic Church. And it is an absurd idea. Priests should have the same freedom anyone has over whether they get married or not, and when the Church finally gets round to doing away with mandatory celibacy, that right will be respected.

The Catholic Church has made immense efforts and had immense success in facing its sexual abuse problem. It has to. By now the damage to its public image has been devastating. No organization a fraction of the size could leave that untouched.

edmund_carey: Blaming it on the sexual revolution in the sixties may not be entirely wrong. Seeing as how clerical abuse wasn't heard of much in the forties and fifties. It does still sound like a "throw off" though. But it isn't the Church's official position, just the opinion of a retired Pope.
