davidk14: Iran's ballet is fixed and anyone with a shread of common sense knows this. There are non-jews in the Parlament of Israel. Bet you did not know this. See the human rights report from the West Bank and Gaza. You can not even compare the two sides. One side is humane, the other side murders...and they have no remose in murdering Jews. Never again will Jews stand by while there are organizations whose only goal is to murder Jews. You don't like it? Get rid of Hamas and your wish will come true.

They are not bombing civilians. They are bombing Hamas. Hamas intentionally places their civilians in harms way as often as possible to create the illusion that the Israeli's are intentioanlly bombing civilians. It's called critical propaganda. And people fall for it.

foosquad: Yes, they are. Israel clearly does not have the capability of pinpointing its targets with sufficient accuracy, and chooses to ignore the risk of killing or injuring civilians.

Does Hamas use civilian areas to stage rocket launches from? Yes, absolutely. That is both irresponsible and criminal. But that does not absolve Israel from blame for giving the go-ahead for bombing civilian areas. I doubt Hamas polls the residents of an area politely before using their neighbourhood. They are caught between a rock and a hard place.

Israel also has a policy of destroying the homes of the families of Hamas members.

So, all those rockets coming out of the Gaza Strip into Israel all the way up to Tel Aviv and the Israeli's should do what? Not respond? Seriously?

You continue to blame the Jews.

They are just protecting themselves.

Israel returned the Gaza in a land for peace deal in 2005. It was the right thing to do but then two years later, here comes Hamas murdering its own people to take control from the PA which they did. Then attack after attack after attack on Israel.

And you think the Jews should not defend themselves? Seriously? Don't you get it yet? Jews will not let themselves be slaughtered. Never again...means....never again. You don't like what's happening....get rid of Hamas. Why not be critical of Hamas...and the Muslim Brotherhood who created them...and other Islamic terror groups who's only goal is for the genocide of the Jews. Not my words....theirs.

Will Hamas and Hezbolla be held accountable as well??

.

foosquad: Yes, of course.

Hamas and Hezbollah were both founded in reaction to Israel's actions. After apartheid ended in S. Africa and after the Troubles ended in Ireland, both sides had to put down their arms and were held accountable. It's accepted practice now and I don't see Hamas getting a free pass.

There have been multiple offers to Israel from the Arab states offering recognition in return for some combination of a return to 1967 borders, repatriation for Palestinians expelled in 1948, and a halt to new settlements. Hamas gains recruits and financing when it can point out Israel's occupation of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and an Israeli withdrawal would take away that raison d'être. Several Arab states already openly negotiate with Israel. I think they would rather trade with Israel than go to war with it.

Israel's founders did not feel the need to include the West Bank, the Gaza Strip or the Golan Heights in the original territory of Israel. Those were captured during the Six Day War. By asking Israel to return them as a homeland for the Palestinians, nobody is asking Israel to give away any of the territory it started out with in 1945.

Why not give the Palestineans the land that they should have agreed to in 1948? That would be fair.

As far as the Jordanian West Bank and the Egyptian Gaza strip, these lands were forfit when Egypt and Jordan attacked Israel in 1967. These lands were never 'Palestinean'. They were Jordanian and Egyptian. They lost the war...they lost the land.

Israel numberous times have sat at the negociation tables. Israel evacuated the Gaza and what happened....Hamas took over. Now why should Israel negociate with Hamas, a terror organization who's sole perpose is to murder Jews? They swear never to negociate with the Jews. So now Israel is the bad guy? Seriously?

foosquad: The land the Palestinians should have agreed to in 1948? What land is that?

Israel essentially founded a brand new country right on top of an existing population. It was a terrible idea then, and prominent Zionists pointed out that it would lead to resentment, but it's 70 years later now and too late to reverse it. Generations of Israelis have been born there and consider it their homeland. That's understandable too.

Since the Gaza Strip and the West Bank were never part of the territory claimed by Israel's founders, and since neither Egypt nor Jordan are asking for their respective pieces back, it makes sense for Israel to let those two be made parts of a sovereign Palestinian state. Israel would be purchasing peace with land it did not set out owning anyway, and the Palestinians would have a place to live and build in peacefully. It's almost too easy, but impossible with the current government in Israel.

Palestinians currently do not live in an effectively sovereign state. The movement of people and goods in Palestine is controlled by Israel to a degree that any state would consider intolerable. Worse situations have been resolved with political will elsewhere, but it always requires the stronger party to make concessions instead of being focused on scoring points. Outside of fairy tales, the world is a complex place and not neatly split down the middle into goodies and baddies.

Israel won the land. Israel did not attack.

Jordan, Egypt and Syria all attacked Israel together to wipe it out...genocide. They lost. Egypt lost the Gaza. Jordan lost the West Bank, and Syria lost the Golan Heights. That is history...acurate history. What is also history, California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas used to be Mexico yet they are now The United States property. Should the US give these lands back as well? Of course not.

Yawaar, read. You might just learn something.

History also shows that Israel has proven that they have exchanged land for peace. They did so with Egypt as well as Jordan. They were and are still willing to exchange the Golan with Syria for a peace accord. Israel also evacuated Gaza in 2005 to honor a peace deal. However, the Palestineans reniged on the deal. Don't blame Israel...blame the Palestineans.

Don't be so one sided yawaar...it is unbecoming. You side with the genocidal.

How cn Israel be the root cause? Hamas was created AFTER Israel evacuated Gaza for a land for peace deal. Hamas murdered Palestinean Authority officials by the dozen in 2007 because the PA was contimplating peace with the Jews. And you still blame the Jews? Seriously?

Your Saddam question is a non-question. The UN Charter...yes. I have. And it is the UN that created Israel as well as the Palestinean lands exactly at the same time and exactly the same land masses. However, Egypt, Jordan and Syria attacked Israel to wipe the Jews out or in other words...to finish what Hitler failed to do....which was to exterminate the Jews. However, the Jews won that war in 1948, as well as the war in 1956, 1967, and 1973. All those wars were initiated by those that wanted to exterminate the Jews.

Sorry. That is the facts and the truth of the matter. You and those like you who support the destruction of Israel are no better than Hamas or those that created Hamas and those that trained the Muslim Brotherhood. The Nazi's.

foosquad: I don't think you understand yet that political opposition to the State of Israel and wanting to commit genocide against the Jewish people are two entirely different and independent positions. If you think that any person who opposes Israel's actions in Gaza and the West Bank is automatically wishing for the destruction of the Jewish people, you are abominably incorrect. I suppose the good news is that outside your imagination, that is simply not the case.

I will say it one more time before I bow out of this discussion: the State of Israel is a political entity and not coincident with the global Jewish community. Support of (or opposition to) Israel is separate from one's opinion of the Jewish people, and this one country may not get a free pass to be immune to criticism.

ISRAEL IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF ALL THE PROBLEMS IN THE MIDDLE EAST PERIOD. the ambition of israel to occupy all the land is causing a big mess which we have to face as a citizen of the world. the entire world is impacted because of israel's aggression.
why you say saddam question is not relevant?? didn't saddam win war against kuwait?? based on your poor reasoning, which i don't support, saddam had legitimate rights over kuwait because he won the war.

Hamas In June 2007, Hamas defeated Fatah in a series of violent clashes, and since that time Hamas has governed the Gaza portion of the Palestinian Territories, while at the same time they were ousted from government positions in the West Bank.[11][12]

According to Human Rights Watch, the Hamas-controlled government of Gaza stepped up its efforts to "Islamize" Gaza in 2010, efforts that included, according to the organization, the "repression of civil society" and "severe violations of personal freedom."[138]

In 2011, Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas administration in the Gaza Strip, condemned the killing of Osama Bin Laden by American forces, praising bin Laden as a "martyr" and an "Arab holy warrior".[140]

There is so much more for you to learn. Like I might have said erlier...your ignorance about Hams is deafening. You want to know about Hamas....read their Charter. You will be dumbfounded.
