First, the leader there said he was going to get revenge for Korean-american war (which happened before he was even born) and then he said he was going to nuke the place. Sony executives have e-mails that they traced from n. korea threatening to bomb the movie theaters that agreed to show the latest movie. That's why they pulled the movie. They feared for everyone's safety, but that means they will lose most or all the profits they were expected to make from production.

Look at it this way. Israel bombed a Lebanese oil well a few years ago causing hundreds of millions in damage and huge environmental damage..This has been proven and the U.N has actually passed a resolution the other day demanding Israel pay compensation.Israel refuses.

Outbackjack: I just read the ABC News in Australia and they reckon there are huge attendances to watch this "North Korean" movie in the U.S.

The saying any publicity is good publicity seems to ring true in this case.

Metaverseguy: Sony probably will lose a bunch of money from the production of that thing, but should be able to make it up with everything they made for ps4. It's also been leaked online and they are trying to control it through twitter. I think some movie theaters even agreed to screen it. I saw it available online to rent for $5.99, which is quite a bit more than the average movie rental.
