War is not the answer. However, when Hamas has a charter that calls for the elimination of Israel, that is just not the answer.

Israel will defend itself. That...is not negotiable. No matter how you are motivated politically, Israel will defend it's population and to some, perhaps you...this is not acceptable.

Boyzzwillbeboyz, I take it to be a great act by someone of her age (at the time she did it, she was a little girl). As a child noticing that something isn't right in the world and choosing to do a small act by boycotting. Of course her small act didn't change things but I found it beautiful that a personal step was taken.

I do not call oppressing another group as self defence. I do not call blocking aid to a needed group of people as self defence. I do not call the treatment of the Palestinians by Israel as self defence. The Palestinian people are being taken advantage of by all sides and no one truly supports them.

You can argue against that if you wish. I can't be bothered.

Kids today should be savvy on world events. As grave as they are. The life of a Palestinian child is a difficult one, are as the lives of many children around the world who live in warring environments. Nurturing that empathy that is common in children is a good step towards ending the biasness of the old generation. The greedy, old farts who can't fight their own wars but require others to fight for them by fuelling old prejudices and creating the illusion that one race is above another because some 'God given' right will die out eventually.

There is the West Bank Palestinian vs. the Gaza Palestinian.

One is willing to discuss peace, but is scared to death by the Gaza Palestinian which will murder them if there is serious discussions of peace.

Now Slaughterin forgets the peace talks with President Clinton where the Palestinians got 97% of what they asked for. That's right folks...they got 97% !!!!

However, once Arafat returned home....the Infatada started and ENDED that peace process.

Now, only a moron would enter into a new peace deal unless one thing would happen.....very simple....That the Palestinians accept and recognize Israel. Only then would true negotiations start. To prime the most recent talks, Israel released Palestinian murders for the opportunity to show good will.

Well folks, the current Prime Minister of the Palestinian / West Bank denied that they would recognize Israel as a country with secured borders before the last batch of convicted murders were released. So Israel decided not to release the last batch. Now...what say you....pretty stupid Palestinians wouldn't yah think.

The Palestinians have only two choices....

1) Go to war with Israel and loose.

2) Get rid of Hamas. Secure one Palestinian voice for peace. Sit down at the peace table and get er done.

I know what you are thinking....Israel must stop building. They did for close to a year but the Palestinians did not sit down and talk peace....so the Israeli started building. You would have too. Just remember something real important....

Israel was in the Gaza for decades and built homes, infrastructure hospitals, farms and in 2005 Israel decided to vacate the GAza for one reason and one reason only....TRADE LAND FOR PEACE. It worked before with Egypt.

They would do it again in the West bank. For peace....absolutely.



Now...ask yourself this question. Would you trust Hamas? The Egyptians don't. They sealed up the border as tight as they can. Hamas was born from The Muslim Brotherhood. But then...you knew that right?

So once again, your ignorance of the reality on the ground is repulsive.

I guess the hardest item for many to handle is that Israeli surgeons provide free services to all Palestinian children that need heart surgery. It seems, there is a very high percentage of the young population of Palestinians that have heart defects. And Israel is providing the medical attention that these children need to live. There is not a Muslim country providing this type of care. Shame on them.....shame. And shame on you too.

The has a slightly different, more sneaky and insidious strategy - in order to acquire more resources, (and installing their favourite "leach, a central bank) they usually go by a 3 stage process:

1st: They attempt (usually) to bribe (in the name of big business/corporations) the target nation's "leader", to see if [s]he will "see reason" and "sell out his/her countries resources to the (exceedingly inexpensively btw).

If that fails, it's on to phase "2"

2nd: They try to either foment a riot/uprising to get the target ousted by "popular demand", or they try to assassinate/imprison the target leader outright. (As was the case in Iran with Mossadegh) Then, they replace the target with one of their "own" hand-picked people, who "sees things their way".


If that fails then it's on to stage "3".

3rd: They usually label the target nation a "terrorist state" or a "rogue nation" and proceed to start a war with them outrightly. (As is/was the case with Iraq) backed by a nice propaganda campaign for the public, and usually "the people", not being the brightest of thinkers, swallow the spiel whole, and "support the troops".

Again, the does things a little bit different than maybe Russia, but the international "game" of "Risk" iz basically the same..

Btw: Thanks to the murdering Gadaffi, (who had his own gold-backed currency btw) there are currently only 3 nations in the world without a central bank.

North Korea, Iran, Cuba.
