JFK 50 years and still people believe conspiracies.

chronology: You could almost forgive conspiracy theorists and their alternative universe of explanations. Nov 22 1963 the day Lee Oswald was driven to work by a co-worker, the co-worker asked Lee what he had in the brown paper bag he was carrying; 'curtain rods' replied Lee. Later the coworkers would say Lee only took his sandwiches bag to work, another witness that morning said Lee was not carrying anything when he walked into work at the TSBD where he worked as a dispatch clerk. So would begin 50 years of often wild speculations. Around 30 minutes before JFK was shot, Lee was on the 6th Floor where the fatal shots would come from; 'don't forget to send the Elevator back up for me' called Lee as his friends went downstairs to watch the Motorcade. 3 or possibly 4 fatal shots rang out from the 6th floor window where Lee was last seen working with friends. A man in the street below saw a man holding a rifle at the window, the man matched Lee's description. Dealey Plaza produced a considerable echo effect which confused Police Officers as to where the shots came from, but some Officers understood right away that the shots had come from the TSBD. A Dallas Policeman raced into the building with gun drawn and confronted a man on the 2nd floor, the mans supervisor said he was Lee and worked in the building. Lee would later say to Dallas Detectives; 'I was upstairs and heard all the commotion and came down to see what was happening'. In the commotion following the shooting Lee left work and began heading home. Dallas Police received a phone call from a person who knew Lee saying he suspected Lee could have been responsible for the shooting. Dallas Police issued an Radio call for any officer who saw a man matchings Lees description to detain him for questioning. Officer J.D.Tippit was driving past a man who matched Lees description and pulled over to speak to the man.

chronology: Witnesses would later testify the man was Lee who walked up to the Officer and shot him twice in the chest and once in the head, cartridges from the pistol found at the crime scene later matched the gun Lee was carrying when arrested in a Movie Theatre. A rifle found at the TSBD was identified as a rifle Lee had purchased, Lee's fingerprints were found on the Boxes used hide the shooter at the window.

chronology: So where you may ask is the mystery about Dallas Texas in November 1963? A man called Abraham Zabruda filmed the shooting of JFK with a 8mm camera. In the film JFK is struck from behind and the 'whiplash effect' throws his head backwards making the appear to have come from his front. No end of explaining whiplash responses to gunshots has ever convinced some people the shots cam from behind the President. Another subject to provoke mystery was Lee himself. He was a typical murderer in many ways, a traumatic childhood, socially deprived, hardly different from any other convict, but he had spent time in the USSR, and was a self appointed member of fringe politics.

chronology: That people make wild speculations about Dallas in November 1963 is no mystery. In the U.S. National Parks people ocasionaly go missing. The sad deaths are usually tragically mundane. People wander off and get lost or fall down cliffs, or drown in ponds. But if the bodies are not found, Americans can often surprise observers with the range of their imagination; 'A Giant Eagle swept up the woman', 'A Bigfoot female threw the man on her back and ran off with him', 'Fairies stole the child away to an underground world',

JFKs death has generated equally outlandish scenarios with everyone from Organised Crime to the Federal Reserve being woven into fantastic conspiracies.

lori100: Don't believe the propaganda....why was Bush sr. --in the CIA at that time---photographed at the Depository??.....just another 'coincidence' of course......

chronology: Lori my dear girl, we are dealing with 'facts' not speculations of Big Foot, or Fairies, or Giant Eagles or wild speculations about Mr Bush.

Lori. Bullets from Lee's rifle were found in JFKs body and his automobile, cartridges from Lee's handgun were found near the dead body of Officer Tippit, Lee was arrested with the gun on him that murdered Officer Tippit, cartridges from Lee's rifle were found near the shooters window in the TSBD, Lee tested positive for Gunshot Residue which Dallas PD tested him for.

Honestly Lori, how much proof do you need?

If Lee was being framed why did he not say who he thought was framing him? he had ample opportunity to. He was complaining to Press Men that he was 'not being treated right' that he was 'not having his Rights respected', no mention at all about any mythical fraudsters.

Digital enhancement may settle the matter once and for all soon. They have a blurred image of a person stood at the TSBD shooters window just minutes before the shooting. One day technology will be able to enhance it enough establish who the person is.

chronology: Lori, there is movie footage of a TSBD worker in the window below the 6th floor shooters window, he can be seen waving to President Kennedy then looking up at the window above him where the shots came from, the window where boxes are peppered with Lee's fingerprints on them. He was working on that floor that day, but there would be no reason for him stacking boxes at the shooters window. Like I said before, the Hughes Movie film when it can be enhanced enough to recognise the shooter will end the speculation once and for all. At the moment, the enhancement has been able to rule out more than one person at the window, or near the window. All the evidence says that one person was Lee.

chronology: Lori, just for you I checked out the photograph you refer to. Well there is a striking resemblance to Mr Bush, no disrespect to you, but 'so what'? he was speaking to Oil Men in Dallas the night before at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Dallas. Lori my dear, do you honestly believe he is going to publicly check in at a Hotel if he was involved in some covert activities? Lori that is just too much. Not to mention stand with his hands in his pockets outside the TSBD. Mr Bush may have wandered over to look at the Crime Scene, people, thousands of them, often do. I must say dear girl, you do have a 'Bee in your Bonnet' about Mr Bush.

"The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy America's freedom and before I leave office, I must inform the citizens of their plight." Ten days later, John F. Kennedy was assassinated!

chronology: Lori, these are wild flights of fancy on your part, mere phantoms of your imagination. We must stay in the world of reality. The sad fact is Lee Oswald shot the President it seems out of hatred for the U.S.

If I may digress slightly. One touching point is the personal belongings taken from Lee on his arrest by Dallas Police. He was a traitor to America and a Cop killer, but even so, he carried a photograph of his wife Marina in his wallet. Marina looked like a typical American young wife, there were photographs of his baby as well. Lee did not just other peoples lives that day. The few sad belongings he carried with him that day were all he had in the world, his personal possessions, other than his rifle, were in a friends garage.

Kennedy (the 35th President of the United States 1961 – 1963) signs Executive Order 11110 which returned to the U.S. government the power to issue currency, without going through the Rosthchilds owned Federal Reserve.--------------He planned to end the Federal Reserve.....---------This Executive Order 11110, is rescinded by President Lyndon Baines Johnson (the 36th President of the United States 1963 to 1969) on Air Force One from Dallas to Washington, the same day as President Kennedy was assassinated.

chronology: Lori, with all respect to you, you are simply expanding over and over flights of fancy about Mr Kennedy's death. All the evidence, from Movie footage on the day, to fingerprints, to witness statements, to scientific Gunshot Residue Tests, to Oswald's own movements on that day point to only one conclusion, an irrefutable conclusion, Lee acted alone, without connection to any group, Government or otherwise. 'Why' did he do as he did? we can never know another person's heart, let alone their mind. Lee gave the 'Clenched Fist' salute and flashed a triumphant smile at photographers while doing so when in custody, maybe he was an anarchist assassin like some believe. Do you seriously believe someone like Lee would sacrifice himself for the Federal Reserve Bank? Come on Lori, get real.

chronology: Lori, after all the evidence stacked up against him you still think Lee a fall Guy? Well OK dear that is your privilege, but you sure must deliberately choose to ignore facts. Perhaps some time you could explain to us all how Lee was set up? that sure would have taken some doing, not even the 'Amazing James Randi' could have pulled an illusion like that.

davesdatahut: While it is a compelling theory, given all that was happening at that time, that Oswald did not act alone, this begs a very important question: How did ALL the people involved in whatever conspiracy they conspired to carry out keep it a secret? No one spilled the beans. Ever. That's a hell of a neat trick if indeed it was some big conspiracy. It's possible that there was a small band of conspirators in some small cell that worked with Oswald, unconnected to any larger movement within the US or a foreign government (or the mob). But a widespread conspiracy that was never betrayed by a single involved person? It defies logic. It's like the stupendously ridiculous belief by some that the US government was behind 9/11. And not a single person has given up the goods on it! NOT ONE! That's some tight band of brothers!
In addition, advanced, modern ballistics and forensics analysis has lent great credence to the lone gunman theory in the JFK case. See the recent NOVA science program on PBS. Very interesting analyses pointing to the high likelihood of a lone gunman.

There was a great deal of evidence that he was part of a gang of political killers but at that time the laws did not allow much action against such plotters.

Conspiracy theorist don't say the truth but put a slant on things which makes it very difficult for them to admit even the evidence which courts do now allow.

lori100: Lots of obvious evidence exists that 911 was an inside job....see my 911 thread. Posted there is also a list of people 'suicided' or 'accidentally' put to death....-------they all had connections to Bushes and 911........people who tell the truth will be killed. Also I have posted about whole cities created to develop and support the atomic bomb .....all those people involved were likely threatened if they talked, too. People who witnessed aliens with the govt and were at Roswell were threatened (as well as their families) , and/ or transferred....some turned up dead soon after.... it happens....read "Need to Know" by Timothy Good on military and ufo reports ......very detailed evidence....
