..."The White House says McDonough and the other advisers did not tell President Barack Obama about the impending report, leaving him to learn the results from news reports on May 10. White House press secretary Jay Carney said Obama was comfortable with the fact that "some matters are not appropriate to convey to him, and this is one of them."

OCD_OCD: Once again, Obama is going to say he didn't know anything.

He never seems to know anything. He didn't know anything about the IRS, Benghazi or the violation of the First Amendment rights to freedom of the press.

Is the guy that stupid? LOL I don't think so.

David Axelrod is the wizard behind the curtain. Obama was the socialist and the face of "the movement". The movement had nothing to do with race, Obama's race that is, and the "movement" was to get control of the US Government and trash the Constitution. They did a pretty good job of it but now, Obama's approval rating has fallen significantly. When Navy SEALS verbalize their discontent with the administration, when the IRS is out of control, when the DOJ is out of control, when the press corp starts to question the administration, if this administration continues in the direction it is in, the possibility of impeachment is possible., And where has good ole Joe been hiding out? Haven't heard from him lately.

I'll think of it in a minute...

What happened was this...I think....

Obama made deals with the devil to get to where he is right now. Many of these deals were to 'Hollywood', to the 'media', to leftist professors and school administrators, not to mention the unions. How is it possible?

I think his agenda has changed.....FAR left turn. I think everyone was on board for Obamacare (take care of everyone no matter the cost), They were on board for getting out of GITMO and he thought he had a slam dunk but he did not [common sense kicked in]. But then the war on terror is over?....big misinformation program but it took care of those anti war folks even though it but us more at risk. We lost an Ambassador and 'they' had to lie about it to keep the anti war folks on board. And on and on....

OCD_OCD: Lerner was the IRS official responsible for the office in Cincinnati that created a "be on the lookout" list for tax-exempt applications from groups using the words "Tea Party," "Patriot" and "9/12 Project" in their names. Those applications were held up for more than a year while applications from liberal groups requesting similar status were routinely approved, a USA TODAY review found.

An audit by the IRS inspector general found that Lerner tried to immediately correct that list when she learned about it in 2011 but replaced it with criteria that included groups "critical of how the country is being run." Members of Congress from both parties want to know why she never informed Congress — even under direct questioning.

XWhiteandBlue: Interestingly enough DOJ waived the fees for 31/34 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests made by liberal/environmentalist/green organiztions, and DENIED the fee waiver requests for 29/31 FOIA requests by conservative organizations.

So, the perception is that If you agree w/ the admin, you get your requests for free... but if you question the "ruling elite" you'll pay for it! (literally)

OCD_OCD: President Obama may have promised “to hold the responsible parties accountable” for the Internal Revenue Service targeting of conservative non-profit groups, but one of the agents at the center of the scandal was recently promoted, an IRS source tells The Washington Examiner.

Through 2012, then-Exempt Organization Specialist Stephen Seok signed many of the intimidating letters sent to conservative nonprofits. For example, this January 2012 letter sent to the Richmond Tea Party demanded the date, time and location of all group events, as well as copies of all handouts provided at the events, and the names and credentials of all organizers. Seok also demanded the names of all speakers and the contents of the speeches they made.

According to WXIX-TV/Fox 19 in Cincinnati, Seok is no longer an exempt organization specialist. He has since been promoted to “supervisor IRS agent.”

Contacted for comment on when and why Seok was promoted, the Cincinnati IRS office had no comment and referred all inquiries to the Washington office. The Washington office, when contacted, also refused comment on Seok’s promotion, citing the Privacy Act of 1974.

It appears some of the “rogue agents” in the Cincinnati office are being rewarded for targeting conservatives, not punished.

OCD_OCD: Eric Holder apparently told what few press agencies that bothered to show up at his "off the record" meeting that the Administration would not repeat their "controversial" (read UNCONSTITUTIONAL) searches of the press.

When translated, it means "we got our asses caught and couldn't hide it so now we will go about doing the same thing a different way". This crap happens in countries that have dictators and now its happening here. I'm past disgusted over this whole travesty.

OCD_OCD: "As The Washington Examiner‘s own Susan Ferrechio reports Friday most news organizations boycotted on principle Attorney General Eric Holder’s offer to join a press conference Thursday in which he discussed the Obama’s White House various efforts to monitor, intimidate and harass journalists. Holder’s condition was that the meeting be “off the record,” meaning none of the reporters would be allowed to report what was said at the meeting.

Among those who did attend was the Washington Post. Today’s Post has an account of the meeting — sort of. That is, they have a story about what the Justice Department allowed them to say about its efforts to protect press freedom."

******

So, during the "off the record" meeting, the press was allowed to disclose what Eric Holder and the Justice Department told them they could. That is so sad that it is laughable.
