The Next "Third Reich" Intolerance: Some times in history a Country goes insane and attempts to conquer the world (Napoleonic France/Nazi Germany). I looked into the causes and conditions and found that it was not that people were more primitive (or stupid) in the past. Actually the conditions are still in the world today, and that; not only could it happen again, but probably will happen again. To make it simple; it seems the criteria is a country going through economic collapse with changing values or moral decay, who's people exhibit a couple specific kinds of general cultural attitudes and behaviors: 1) Aggression towards attack (wanting vengeance) 2)culture of encouraging intelligence and tolerating obsession or strange neurotic behaviors, 3) arrogant pride in the nation that is based on historical achievements 4) Military traditions of bravery in famous wars, 5) A culture of non-corruption, 6) a currently advanced military 7)not being bordered by a more powerful paranoid nation. 8) Not being to small or lacking in population 9)a built up infrastructure. 10) not already being the most powerful country in the world. 11)not having done it in last couple hundred years, Anyways these are the Countries I find most likely to do it in the future: -England- Seriously they have all the criteria, and being an Island helps making early intervention by neighbors unlikely. -China- If a more nationalistic government forms in China, they would be much more willing to openly try and remake the Qing Dynasties borders (the current goal is to do it with peaceful means). This would require the invasion of 7 countries. and parts of 3 more. Russia - They're the most likely. (Edited by Intolerance) duncan124: "..lacking in population..." is a major stop on things nazi nowadays. But Portugal could be included but they seem to have forseen and stopped some of the other problems on your list. duncan124: The BBC again reports the labour party would vote for a ' snooper charter ' to spy on every email and phone call. As it does n't make any sense ( and Mr Computer has been behind it recently) it clearly is n't what would happen. Flat Screen Tony Blair was behind it as well as the Gulf War but as it depends on your computer falling in to the hands of the Govt or for Govt officals to have hacked in to your computer or mobile phone. Clearly it is Google and You Tube, the " pro-gay machines " and the pro-gay civil service which Cameron thinks is a powerbase. The Jobcenter has a Universal web site and demands your email address on letters--not a commonsence breach of security that. lori100 duncan124: Have you seen the wages??? In two years many wages have increased nearly 25%. Clearly the Austerity budget has not reached the middle earners and things are looking a little like prewar Germany! duncan124: What part of " Have you seen the wages??? In two years many wages have increased nearly 25%. Clearly the Austerity budget has not reached the middle earners and things are looking a little like prewar Germany!" ...makes you think of a computer??? is someone telling you what to write? OCD_OCD: *sigh* Once again, nothing you say is either on topic or makes any sense whatsoever, so I'm not even going to bother helping you continue with your off-topic, mad-cap drivel. duncan124: You read it here 14 days ago;- "The BBC again reports the labour party would vote for a ' snooper charter ' to spy on every email and phone call." "..your off-topic mad cap drivel " lol Tomacco: There already 'snoop' on us and since Duncan is obsessed with the BBC I thought this may help http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22860239 duncan124: I am not obsessed with anything Tomacco. Get off your horse and drink your milk. There is no GCHQ, it was closed years ago as the newspapers all pointed out. If you had bothered to read the links you will have noticed that BBC claimed that the Labour Party said it would introduce a Snooopers Charter. As the Labour hasn't said what it policies are and has only warned people, as it has to , that it does not foresee rents or pensions being increased it is very likely the the BBC invented the story. It is very unlikely that the whole spy scandal was made in the UK by the BBC and the newspapers who are seriously out of touch. Republician Wireclubbers were made to look foolish by their slaveish devotion to the party message and other wireclubbers were laughing at them. pilgrim12: And you believe what the papers say when it comes to the National Security of a country?they are told what the security forces tell them and GCHQ is not shut down it is still working with other countries in anti-terrorism,in risk senarios,in supplying vital info for covert operations, every country has a security establishment,in this day and age it will be foolish not too . duncan124: GCHQ is totaly closed and out of date. The newspapers reported it to try and stop the loonies saying it was spying on them or did n't see the UFOs. It was a type of radar station which was out moded years ago. Its main task was watching the Middle East as the newspapers gleefully reported when ever the Americans had an incident there. pilgrim12: No mate its for home and abroad and up to the now still in operation, its used by the military as well as COBRA for home security, papers have no judification into National Security, what they learn is what they are told ,papers are hardly ever right only by the info given to them. duncan124: GCHQ, which we were talking about, is all closed. The Guardian Newspaper danced on its grave after all the events the newspaper reported when the GCHQ staff went on strike. It was one of the UKs more famous strikes and legal disputes. Which media is more suitable for discussing Security Agencies? TV?? pilgrim12: nope called the official secrets act all military do the oath as do security departments,GCHQ had a debate in the house of commons on the 14th of may this year its head was called to answer several political questions concerning the use of its highly sofisticated listening hardware on the general public, the Special Forces minister said that all highly sensitive establishments have there own devices to keep security to the max ,so dont stand near RHQ credenhill near hereford or any other SF's/sensitive areas. pilgrim12: im in the parachute regiment we are SF's all but 16th air brigade who are under army,so SAS/SBS,intelligence all sensitve establishments are run by the SF minister who has a rank of major general out of whitehall, check it . |
