Turn the page.

The Nuclear cartoon really goes with;-

"The Romanian President falls outside of the EU.

The President is reported as meeting Prince Charles Windsor. An action which lands him outside of this Europe.

Is it an UK Anti-EU agenda or in fact an anti-President idea caused by the toppling Portuguese President?

Will the end of the US Sponsored Portuguese President also bring an end to other unwanted figures in Europe??"

Just to remind the readers.

A, The British Govt was selling the Portuguese Military guns ( and would have completed the deal if the ship carrying the weapons had not sunk)

B,The Romanians have a Nuclear program and the UK is trying to dump nuclear waste and the Windsors are trying to make a profit from it.

C, The Polish claim the Russians have invaded the Ukraine where there is a broken nuclear reactor and dump.

D Unreal people have no place in Europe and woolly headed fiddlers meeting the European Presidents only upsets voters. Americans are not popular in Europe.

"Seguro, facing a challenge from party heavyweight and Lisbon Council President António Costa, dismissed any suggestion that the election was coming too late.

"I did not create this problem. This problem was created by António Costa but I did resolve the problem," said Seguro, who ran into the challenge after a worse than expected result in the recent European elections.

Seguro continued by adding that it would be fraudulent to hold elections in July or August given the number of members on holiday in these months with the leader maintaining that not only the voting but also the leadership campaign itself "should take place at a time favouring the greatest involvement of the Portuguese."

In turn, Lisbon Council President António Costa said that the date was late and that his challenge was about more than just personalities but about the political project embodied by the Socialist Party." Portugalnews online.

Seguro is the guy who accepted the actual cheque for the bailout from Europe when the Govt figures failed to meet the requirements for banking it. And was inquired after by several other Govts each time.

The only time he did not actually cash the cheque was when he was on holiday and then it was Costa to signed for it.

The President of the Republic had to interrupt the speech I made in the guard when his voice began to fade and felt unwell. He was immediately taken away by his security guards to the rear of the Tribune of honor.

I think " The President collapses " is a false event. It was a military junta news story.

Publico has printed the speech which the original story is unclear about. Either he said all of it and collapsed. Or he collapsed half way through. Either way a President asking the opposition to tell the Govt how the budget should be is a no-brainer.

The President is wanted for crimes in Poland and would go on trial in Portugal for what was his part in the military executions and murders that took place while he was in office.

Illness is a right wing attempt to avoid trial for crimes committed.

The picture in Publico is obviously fake---and is connected to the supply of military equipment that never made it and so to like wise events in other parts of Europe!!!

The chant of " Government out! " wins.

Portugals Government must be watching the news about illegal activities in Poland with some trepidation.

Firstly because there is an arrest warrant for members of the Portuguese Government which questions about illegal banking in might cause there to be the political will to have it enforced.

Secondly, the mobsters are clearly moving in around the idea of controlling the banks in Europe. There is no explanation of why the Governor of Polands central bank thought the finance minister had to go or why Tusk agreed to sack him.

The Banks governor was clearly an intelligent man in a powerful position who could have described the issues that effected his ideas with authority.

I wonder if a questionnaire sent to Portugals Bank Governors would yield any good advice for the ministers????

Thenews reports Tusk as saying;-

"PM Tusk said the recording of the talks was “illegal” and amounted to a coup attempt.

"“This is an organized attempt to overthrow the government by illegal means,” "

Prime Minister Tusk told a press conference on Monday afternoon, adding that he would not be asking for the resignation of Minister Sienkiewicz. "The initial analysis of these statements does not indicate any transgressions of the law,” Tusk said, referring to allegations that a government minister was trying to involve an independent central bank governor in political issues." "Young people trying to enter the labour market are, in fact, the main disadvantage"

"The law prohibiting the media interns to sign articles "aims to prevent companies from firing workers and replace them by people working for free," says a member of the Committee on Professional Portfolio of Journalist, Ricardo Daniel.

The public was informed on Thursday by this body responsible for accreditation of journalists that the work of trainees may not be published curriculum in the paper. The President of the Commission threatened the public with fines that could amount to many thousands of euros for the newspaper to allow young people to finish the upper courses performing acts related to the journalistic profession – how to contact official sources of information.

For this State-funded body, this violates the status of Journalist, whereby the Commission accredited professionals are the only ones with "editorial capacity" to make news.

Communication Sciences student also of the new University and student leader, Pedro Rebelo Pereira see also with bad eyes the Commission portfolio: "it's a tremendous injustice we can't sign. If only we can do exercises, we won't learn much ".

In the opinion of the Director of the Business Journal, Helena Garrido, young people trying to enter the labour market are, in fact, the main disadvantage: "In the name journalism is our main asset. If a trainee curriculum can no longer do whatever it takes, this leads us to question the need to have them in the essays " Publico

Big Bessie sounds across Europe.

" The Bank of Portugal decided to split the BES between a "good" Bank and a "bad Bank". The first is with the assets and good credit quality and the second is with the toxic assets, as the credits of dubious quality that the Bank gave the holdings of the Espirito Santo family. The "good Bank" is in the hands of the Resolution Fund and the "bad Bank" is in the hands of the more than 30 thousand current shareholders of BES, who receive a liability that will hardly convert someday in cash.

Is a financial engineering that, despite dropping shareholders, safeguarding the depositors ' money. And has an advantage of trying to somehow separate the sovereign risk of the banking risk. To borrow money to Fund resolution (and not the BES directly), the State can incur losses minimized in the future and keeps the money borrowed has to be counted as a deficit."Publico.pt

This is a good bank because it did as the Govt did.

"The Government decided, at the same time, inject 4.9 billion euros of public funds in the BES good, IE in the new Bank, using the Resolution Fund. But as the Resolution Fund has few hundred of millions of euros, the remaining funds (more than four billion), will the Government get it Recapitalisation Fund that is part of the package of the troika, which has been so costly to the pocket of the Portuguese and the country (unemployment, cuts in salaries and pensions, education and health, tax increase, etc.).

The Government says that the BES good won't bring costs to the State, because their sale in the future will make it possible to carry out public money now invested. But it doesn't say that, if the sale does not allow to perform the public amount now invested (and it is important not to forget that the BPN, where the State has invested more than seven billion euros, was sold for scarce 40 million), there will be the Caixa Geral de Depósitos, i.e. the public purse in view of the responsibility that this Bank has the Resolution Fundto ensure the loss of the precious resources of the country.

It is true that, in this Manichean logic of big business, there are two BES: BES BES and bad. Only that, contrary to Government propaganda, the BES will continue to be the good Bank, which, with the magnanimous help of the State, the great financial capital will continue to use it for his speculative and corrupt practices. And the BES bad, in many cases, could mean the extinction of thousands of jobs, loss of deposits and savings of thousands of depositors, liquidation of small shareholders (tricked and deceived by false advertising), the lack of support for small and medium-sized enterprises and to public investment.

Reason has the CFP while defending the recovery for the State of the financial sector and other companies and strategic sectors. This Yes, a good Bank."Avante.pt

"PARTY, FIGHT ALTERNATIVE"

"The new episode in the scandalous process BES/GES shows once again the true predatory nature of big business, making ' pay – as denounced the PCP-to workers and to the Portuguese people the cost of speculation and harmful management of major financial groups, developed and nurtured over the years with the connivance of the Governments and of the supposed regulators».

«After the hole in the BPN, of recapitalisation with public money in the BCP, BPI and BANIF», the bursting of this scandal in the financial area, will lead the Portuguese State the provision of huge amounts of public money to plug this hole, although the Government and the Bank of Portugal, in a regrettable operation of mystification, say otherwise.

Situation that, beyond all other consequences, brings associated with threat of dismissal of thousands of workers from the Group and the Bank. Another decision contrary to national interests which renews support for financial capital and its speculative and corrupt practices, rather than providing funds for supporting the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises, the promotion of economic activity and public investment.
