President Putins Ploy?

duncan124: "Any direct or indirect interference in our internal affairs, any form of pressure on Russia, our allies and partners is unacceptable," Putin told senior Federal Security Service officers at a meeting, according to a transcript on the Kremlin website.
In recent months, Putin has intensified a push to eliminate foreign influence and promote patriotism in Russia. He has been a vocal proponent of a ban on U.S. adoptions of Russian children passed last year, and earlier this week he submitted a bill to parliament that would prohibit government officials from holding bank accounts abroad.
Speaking at Thursday's meeting, attended by FSB chief Alexander Bortnikov, Putin warned of the dangers of unbridled free speech, saying that "no one has the right to sow hatred, stir up society and thus threaten the lives, well-being and peace of millions of our citizens."

Is he right or is he wrong??

The Russian Presidents 'protectionist' speeches often coincide with bad economic news or facts in West. And Putin has reported as saying he is most concerned and active in the well being of the Russian economy.

In Portugal the Communist Party is reported as being ready to present a Bill,...

"The Portuguese Communist party said it would present a motion next week to eliminate the possibility of consumers being fined for not asking for an invoice, saying the idea was “petty-minded and machievelic” as it impinged on people’s privacy. "

, while at the same time PM Cameron has said something about shaming tax evaders as his part of the up coming economic forum. Which seems to indicate the Communists have made a point.

Although he has now passed more measures stopping organisations he sees as harmful his leadership is more marked by the power sharing with what I guess to be fake people or Fake Humans.

The Western medias view that he is the dictator while his mirror image politician who also held the same posts as he does is not questioned and appears to have no influence on events. It is a very odd situation when any protest is against Putin.

I totally agree with such measures.
It's nobodies business what a country does within it's border's
I as a citizen in a Democratic nation I at times feel that my governments (past, present and future) is more corrupt and oppressive than the so called Communist nations.

He seems quite a popular President outside of Russia. But it seems odd that the very people who he warns against are always the winners opposite him.

One of his mistakes was to lose a diary which showed that a G something summit was an opportunity to sleep in late. Which perhaps also reveals his peoples relationship with the media.

"One of the reasons Putin turned toward more authoritarianism in his third term was that he feared that Medvedev had formed an axis with the West during his presidency, which undermined Russia's global credibility and Putin's authority at home."

The western inspired Moscow Times now hints at Medvedev having been at fault.

Clearly Putin has won.

Medvedev, or any followers, now has to show that he is n't in any way part of anything from the west.
