Israel forcibly sterilising jews (Page 3)

wandermere: Hmm. Charming. Thanks Geoff. Of course, as is always the case with the Israelis, they are pilloried for not being perfect where other nations and peoples would be held to no account at all, AND, when the offense comes to light, as will happen in a democracy, the Israeli authorities acted to correct the situation at once.

"Sharona Eliahu Chai, a lawyer for the Association of Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI), said: 'Findings from investigations into the use of Depo Provera are extremely worrisome, raising concerns of harmful health policies with racist implications in violation of medical ethics.

The Ministry of Health’s director-general was right to act quickly and put forth new guidelines.'"

Comrade_: Are you objecting that the matter was reported? Because you will note that the matter was first release as an issue and then later corrected. Had it not been for it being publicly reported do you believe something would've been done?
Every country is under scrutiny due to globalization and global media coverage, let's not start asking for preferential treatment. It is this 'transparency' that forces for improvement and applying pressure for improvement.

wandermere: I entirely agree. The only preferential treatment I see in this affair is negative, as I said.

The media does its job in all free societies. Israel is one of them. That's how crimes and misdemeanors can be dealt with. And they are.

Comrade_:
I have seen reportings done for other countries (example the girl from Maldives) which was done poorly, specifically to change the events by suggesting something else. This matter that is based in Israel was done straightforwardly. I see nothing negative in this one or out of the ordinary. Considering it was done prior to any change (looking at it from a timeline view).

menganta_25: Serabi: Pretty harsh words there concerning Africa and it's breeding practices. I understand you are from South Africa and I maybe wrong. You probably from the days when whites rules over black in your country. At, my age I still will never understand why white people believe they are so much better than anyone else. God we all need prayer!!!!!
