Why New Zealand should be invaded. (Page 3) GeraldTheGnome: You assumed, it is only about what was in the video which I stated was something that shouldn't be taken seriously nor that of any of the jokes in this forum. MissCellaneous: I was responding to earlier comments suggesting 'facts' about NZ. Not the lighthearted humour, particularly of the video. Apologies for not taking your last comment as a joke. Other commenters on here have appeared pretty serious about their assertions, and you're right - I assumed you were being serious too. GeraldTheGnome: Look, I told others off about the other stuff due to it being irrelevant to this forum as well as it not being lighthearted. MissCellaneous: I see that. The danger of forums of course being that they wander down whatever path the commenters take them on. I'll leave you guys to it, and hopefully the thread continues down the more lighthearted route from here! GeraldTheGnome: Not always, it's strayed here and on other forums, I'm hoping it doesn't stray but the opening words and or headings some forums have does wander into a certain direction. This forum was brought about by a segment on Gruen that was to sell an idea that can't be sold. One was on Australia and New Zealand merging from an Australian and New Zealand perspective and another on why New Zealand is a better place to travel to. All in a comic fashion, sometimes with a distorted but factual side, other times by made up stuff as well as being totally one eyed but in a good way. GeraldTheGnome: I don't like the game and yes I give it a derogatory term, so let's not. Brutal ? Not really, but then this isn't about 'that' version of Footy. Look at the heading. Maybe New Zealand should be invaded so people can live in those pockets there where UFO houses are, oh and make Bungy Jumping compulsory as a sport to be 'taught' in schools. PMSL. Still I find it odd the way everyone piles up and jumps on top of each other to get the ball in Union/Rugby/Rugby Union. (Post deleted by alpossmar82 ) GeraldTheGnome: For once I'm stumped. Yes, the war that the Pommy troops had with the locals and the Waitangi Treaty bit was rough at the very least but this site isn't about those subjects, as I told the others, keep it light hearted. Everyone reading this should remember that. GeraldTheGnome: I'm not getting into if the actions of the British forces were that of ethnic cleansing or not, I could put my two bob's worth in, that I'm known for on this site but I won't because I don't want this forum to stray anymore than people have done on here. Responding to that would just make me stray away from the subject of the current forum that I'm on at the time, I won't do that again. (Post deleted by alpossmar82 ) GeraldTheGnome: Hello ! Lighthearted material for here please, not controversial theories that I won't bring up on this forum and that I don't want brought up on this forum. (Edited by GeraldTheGnome) alpossmar82: Is it interesting Nz nuclear free policy could be seen as a 'don't walk on the grass' approach to invaders. Ban on centrifuge technology was also debated used in mining and experimental fueling systems, turbines for wind farming. (Edited by alpossmar82) GeraldTheGnome: Huh ? Since when did I think this was a spot for anything else than lighthearted material about the heading ? Never. Remember that finally. GeraldTheGnome: I think you've got the coolest nick by the way. Yeah, it's off topic but I had to mention it. | Politics Chat Room 38 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
