How Israel shattered Gaza truce leading to escalating death and tragedy: a timeline (Page 3)

Comrade_: I don't to agree/disagree to any of your rambling Davidk, that's the beauty of it all. Some days I don't even bother reading them.

Funny thing though that Egypt (muslim-brotherhood) is calling for a ceasefire and is involved with mediation talks. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-20413625)
I'd think they had a clean excuse to jump in and start 'exterminating' jews. meh who knows.

Hiding you head in the sand when you feel it is appropriate? Fine.

The Muslim Brotherhood might be negotiating and it's interesting that Egypt has 80 million people, a huge army two or three times the size of the population of Israel, and they still remember the butt kicking they got in 73 and 67. Of course they want to negotiate.

I'll give you maybe 5 more years till you grow up mentally, then I'll start to take you seriously. You have no substance nothing.

1973 & 1967? compared to 2012. I doubt it. But tell me does It bothers you a bit Davidk that they're not inciting a war and choose to negotiate the matter? hmm.

Has Israel invaded the Gaza? They have 10's of thousands of soldiers, hundreds of tanks waiting for the order to invade. They have not because they, the Israeli's do not want to. They might have to, But they do not want to.

"On Monday, Egyptian intelligence officials met separately in Cairo with an Israeli envoy and with Khaled Mashaal, the top Hamas leader in exile, to try to bridge the considerable differences."

AP

Hamas wants Israel to halt all attacks on Gaza and lift tight restrictions on trade and movement in and out of the territory that have been in place since Hamas seized Gaza by force in 2007. Israel has rejected such demands in the past. Mashaal told reporters Monday that Hamas would only agree to a cease-fire if its demands are met. "We don't accept Israeli conditions because it is the aggressor," he said. "We want a cease-fire along with meeting our demands."

AP

Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said Israel prefers to end this round of violence through diplomacy but insists the outcome would guarantee Israel long-term quiet along its border with Gaza

AP

Ummm...Seems Israel is the one that wants to negotiate and Hamas doesn't. Israel just wants Hamas to end the rocket fire. Seems fair.

Who said they have, and they've not confirmed that they're not going to invade I should take it that you got that information from Davidk's leak sources.com?

Only seems that you don't understand what the term 'negotiation' means. Hamas has stated what they'd want (seems fair) and Israel stated what they want (seems fair). Ironically it wasn't a demand that calls for the elimination of all Jews.

Copy your full link at the end of your quotes, I know you select paragraphs but the full link would be good for further reading.
From what I've heard so far, the details of the negotiation has not yet been released.

+ Added to that Israel has dished out leaflets to tell Palestinians to move inwardly (a move towards an invasion? Who knows, we'll see how that goes)

Israel and Hamas on verge of truce to end Gaza fighting

Israel and Hamas were on the verge of declaring a truce on Tuesday night, bringing a lull and perhaps a more permanent end to a week-long exchange of missiles which killed at least 130 people.

"The assassination of Jaabari was a pre-emptive strike against the possibility of a long term ceasefire. Netanyahu has acted with extreme irresponsibility. He has endangered the people of Israel and struck a real blow against the few import
ant more pragmatic elements within Hamas. He has given another victory to those who seek our destruction, rather than strengthen those who are seeking to find a possibility to live side-by-side" -

Interviewer: "Russia Today posted an interview with you under the headline 'Long-term peace was within reach before Israeli attack.' That seems misleading."

Baskin: "No, that’s not what I said at all. I say very clearly, peace was not on the agenda. Hamas does not talk about peace. And Israel, quite frankly, is not prepared to make peace with Hamas either. We’re talking about a cease-fire and not more than that. When I did this Russia Today interview, I was listening to the reports that were on before I spoke, and I felt like getting up and leaving, because their reportage was so filled with lies. Even me as a leftist Israeli had trouble sitting there listening to their crap."

Hamas children's propaganda film reinforces illusion of war victory
Author: Itamar Marcus and Barbara Croo

On the first day of its ceasefire with Israel, Hamas has added a new element to its propaganda campaign claiming that it won the war in Gaza. An animated film for children on Hamas TV depicts Israeli soldiers as cowards who are afraid to enter Gaza. They cry, "Mommy, Mommy," as they head into battle, where they are all killed by Hamas gunfire.

The video ends with an Israeli soldier's blood splattered on the screen, accompanied by a caption that reads, "Whoever dares, let him come! Gaza is his certain death."

Serabi:

I will look for links over the weekend. As stated before, I'm talking about marches and riots seen on TV many years ago. Black people were rioting against Apartheid and that was +/- 20 years ago. The habit of placing the kids in front was media orientated to get the maximum sympathy because the whole world is against the death of a child

We see more of it in Central Africa where children are kidnapped, given weapons and sent in before the various rebel armies.

I know that I have seen hamas riots, more recently where children were put in front of marchers and then the father cries crocodile tears when a beautiful child paid the price.

Children should never be the targets of adult stupidity. At any inkling of violence, kids should be removed, as far as possible from danger.
