Putting smoke/tar/hot ashes into your mouth & lungs (regardless of nicotine/THC content) IS harmfull to your body. Takng mind-altering substances (regardless of the intake method) on a regular basis, and without a consistent dosage/ close medical supervision in the case of medical MJ... is harmful to the mind AND body. I've seen articles about strains of cannabis that can treat chronic pain, without the cognitive/judgement impairment (high) but then I've heard people dismiss that option here with merely the comment "naw... It was long propagandized that marijuana killed brain cells, when in fact scientist have recently found it stimulates for the groth of ne brain cells. if you getting your facts that a are based off a movies called reefer madnaess, then of course you gonna believe everything u hear. The fact is that people can say what they want, but i bet if you read the date on your references their all studies before 1996 when they said little is known becaus nixon and following made study on marijuana illegal. the fact is , its like aspirin it works for a number of things. Memory and learning problems may be causing problems at work or even result in losing a job because of high absenteeism. Increasing isolation from friends and family often puts heavy strain on relationships with loved ones. There is a vicious cycle to marijuana addiction in which these problems are often used as a rational to smoke even more pot.
