Great2012
Great2012: So it means obama has 50% chance to win this because if the economy pick some points especially to 7.4 any one from republican will lose because look Newt, rommeny and if paul try to be independents that is totally obam to win , the problem is that the best republican are not running look at all of them they are just not the republicans are going for this race , obama will have the chance to get the young because the young people are not happy with republican congress and also i guess his campain is really like Goldman sachs team , They can crack any one who comes to their attack

Sarcastic Dots
Sarcastic Dots: Just to be clear, you'd be happy is, say, Perry were to stand against Obama.

"Perry: Something wrong when gays serve in military & kids can't celebrate Christmas

I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a Christian, but you don't need to be in the pew every Sunday to know there's something wrong in this country when gays can serve openly in the military but our kids can't openly celebrate Christmas or pray in school.

As President, I'll end Obama's war on religion. And I'll fight against liberal attacks on our religious heritage.

Faith made America strong. It can make her strong again. I'm Rick Perry and I approve this message."

Just to be clear, Perry is stating that he hates the armed forces. Conservatives will spin it as him hating what Obama has turned it into, but Perry is, rather directly, saying he hates certain soldiers and, more ironically than that, he is saying he hates Obama's liberal war on religion, yet is willing to declare a conservative war on the military.

Sarcastic Dots: "Gays were always in the military."

Can't speak for the US military... But Spartans? Laugh out loud.

Sarcastic Dots
Sarcastic Dots: You questioned whether or not homosexuals have always been in the military. I picked the archetypal military society, the spartans, as an example of a military where homosexuality wasn't just allowed, it was encouraged.

I don't understand where the perception came from that serving in the military made everyone straight.

Sarcastic Dots: That's not what was said.

"Gays were always in the military."

The country wasn't specified, but the profession was. Just take the hit and realise that there have, and will always be, homosexuals in every army.

Sarcastic Dots: *facepalm* Okay, I see I'm not getting through to you, so let's try something else.

If homosexuality never existed within the military, why was a policy to keep them out even needed?

If homosexuality never existed within the military, why were soldiers discharged from the army for being openly gay?

When you are ready to reply like an adult, rather than a 12 year old guy who cracks up when gays are mentioned, I'll be waiting for you.
