Weed? (Page 5) rbnprov: i don't want to get cancer cuz some stupid person wants to smoke. And it is childabuse i my opinion for parents to some around their kids! They should outlaw tobacco that is smoked. If someone wants to chew and ruin their gums that is their problem.  Nathaniel Nirvana: there are already plenty of restrictions on tobacco smoking to help prevent second-hand smoke in public & ppl are being educated about smoking around their childeren, unfortuenatly there will always be ppl who do these things around their kids whether its legal or not. Amsterdam doesnt seem to have a problem with weed and its legal in cafes there  GinnyTx: OK as an RN I've watched this through the years, especially while working at MDAnderson Cancer Center, and it does such GOOD. It was legal in 4 states (DC being the fourth) then we went 16 this year. In Texas it's a tough subject and will get a primary candidate voted out. I've been working on all the "kids" my daughter's age (23) to get out HERE AND VOTE!! I warned my neightbor the poll attendant ?? that there's some STRANGE looking kids going to show up at the park and VOTE this year...tatoos, piercings and just leave them be!! I've done a lot of research on this and visited dispesaries mainly and it's so needed...we've got to vote out anyone over 40...the younger etc... but take it from me..hell it IS a medicine and I've seen it work on conditions where modern medicine has failed..now we just have to get the news out... Taxpayers dollars should be better spent on healthcare and education rather than pouring out money to deal everything that comes to enforcing marijuana laws and dealing with the offenders. there are way worse things out there then weed. No matter what the laws of being under the influence with driving and whatnot should still stand so ppl out there cant complain about ppl doing things they shouldnt while under the influence. plus ive never heard of anyone dying from a marijuana overdose but you hear all the time about alcohol poisoning causing death. Give ppl the choice of whether or not marijuana should be legalized or even just decriminalized. Hell give it a shot and if everything turns to crap then just reinstate the laws. its not like it would be the first time the laws have gotten changed back for example allowing gay marriage. But yeah i totally think things need to change in regards to marijuana  hurt2: @sweetcdngirl it's just irresponsible to only think about instant gratification without further ramifications. weed might not kill u in an instant as alcohol sometimes does, but given time, the Effect is mutiplied, cancer victims will rise exponentially, it's a slow killing but wide spreading process. controlling the root is what the government is trying to do while still profiting from it. weed it out or just make them stay in a room by themselves for their own death wish.  fixed_gear_eH: LOL Ya! like hurt2 said! put me in a small room and let me hotbox it!
