(Page 2) the real slim DEEPy: weed actually has anti-cancer agents, and can be used to treat a myriad of medical conditions. if not decriminalize it, at least allow ill people to grow their own. the marinol pill is legal because pharmacutical company lobbyists work to keep the pill legal and the non-patentable plant illegal, however, medical marijuana (sativa) has much better medical benefits than the pure thc found in marinol. sativa is higher in other cannaiboids that have medical beiefits whereas the pure-thc marinol gets you higher than healthier. the real slim DEEPy: the first director of the dea said- marihuana makes a colored step on a white mans shadow, look a white man in the eyes and look at a white woman twice. the pr campaign to illegalize marijuana was racial propoganda, while the AMA insisted that the conduct further medical testing before they should consider illegalizing it. the real slim DEEPy: if one could come up with a cannabis strrin high in cannibinal and without thc, then we would have legal natural marijuana plants. anyone up to the task? the real slim DEEPy: cannabis indica is the mexican weed ghat the kids get high off of, canabis sativa is medical cannabis and is much lower in thc- the intoxicating agent of marijuana. canabis sativa should not be illegal, and was never meant to be. marijuana is mexican slang for cannabis INDICA. the dea purposly used the term marihuana instead of cannabis to throw the AMA for a loop and make it easier to illegalize. The medical profession have run out of options for me. Am on medication for the rest of my life tho I don't take em because of the side effects. I still work and provide for my kids but it would be easier if I could find something to relax the muscles. "weed" does this an is known to the medical profession. I have been "advised" by my specialist to "take" this herb to relieve the pain!!! Alcohol makes you black out if you drink too much. I have known people who somehow ended up in Japan, Germany, etc and had no idea how they got their with a trivial amount of money. So to me alcohol looks like a gateway drug. Will I end up in prison? I am a white articulate middle class white guy, so probably not. If I was a native, or person of colour, then probably would end up in prison due to lack of resources for lawyers etc. It is T.V. for the mind. colour pop more. Food tastes better. One of the news articles I read years ago when I was not smoking was written by a journalist who had hundreds of thousands in timber stocks that soon would be headed into processing for pulp. He didnt understand the difference between Marijuana (female plant) and Hemp (male plant which contains no thc) Turns out that hemp would have been an option for paper, but marijuana would never make it to paper because many people would be taking pinches till there would be nothing left. There are many pharmacutical drugs that have a far stronger and much more health related dangers involved. You wanna pick: Heroin, percaset, typical sleeping pills can all have devestating side effects. Weed does not make you wanna go kill people. Pass the pipe/joint/bong please  avalonserene: The government can't tax weed... they can tax alcohol. Alcohol destroys more homes than weed ever has. Wild__: Sure they can and they should. In fact the city of Oakland, CA is trying to find ways of generating revenue from medical marijana.
