Iranian girl attacked in UK over hijab (Page 3)
Thank me for what? Nobody should be attacked on the street for practicing their religious beliefs or for their political beliefs or because of their race, creed, color or sexual orientation. That is why the 1st Amendment in the Constitution of the United States may be the most important amendment.
That's why the video I posted is so shocking. It shows how a religion mixes religion with political policies and politics which is totally unacceptable in our society here in the United States as well as other western societies around the world. This country was founded on the principal, among others, for the separation of church and state to protect the people from religious interference in the rule of law and religion from government intervention.

braveheart32: @asassin_khan:You are just a bitter Islamist and a potential threat to a civilazation thats far advanced than your thinking.Suporting the implementation of sharia law and claiming that such a law can come from God clearly shows that you have indeed lost the ability to think with common sense.
You try so hard to bring up issues relating to the color of my skin but all you have succeded in proving to me is that you are a pathethic islamist who is bitter with the world because some of us dare to see things diferently.
The mere fact that islam advocates sharia is ample proof that it could never have been inspired r by God.Thee is certainly lots of things fundamentally wrong with islam and those who defend it
franklin1950: a man in iran convicted for harasy will be exicuted .. put to death if he does not denounce his christian belief .
probably not a relative comparison . one an illegal assalt on a woman , the other a government santioned law [ a legal action ]
it will all make sence when sharia law is universaly accepted .
interesting times ahead
convert or die.
Np19: listen mate!!!! ok im a bitter islamist and a potential threat. if i believe that the shari'a is the law of god and should be implemented thats my belief and i will hold on to it firmly.
i truly believe and am convinced that the quran is the word of god like was the torah and the bible, i have done my research and i believe like the many people who convert to islam in your western society that islam is the truth. oh let me guess the hundreds of people who convert to islam in the western world on a daily basis are out of their mind are they? what level of islam have u studied for you to slander the way you are??? let me guess you have studied a phd in CNN's islam?
you are free to believe what u want and thats your choice.
and dont start that oh im crying cuz you mentioned the colour of my skin crap.. my dad happens to be black so miss me wid that crap!!!
you can sit here online saying all the islamaphobic stuff you wish but thats the trait of a coward isnt it???
anyway i think u missed the comment above! if you read it then you'll know that i will not discuss this matter with you islamaphobic individuals. im not for violence but if you hate pathetic islamists like myslef then im sure very very soon we will meet, very soon.. you might just make the front page. see you then buddy.. i.p add
Np19: anyway until then, i will not respond unless its on the subject of the girl who got attacked, im sure this topic was to condem such actions and not a breeding ground for islamaphobic people. anwyay im done.
braveheart72 see ya round soon buddy boy.
Np19: franklin1950: the iranian islamic government is a government like the saudis i dont agree with.
i disagree with the sentence and i also am aware that the judiciary system in iran is very flawed and unfair.
Keep your Sharia out of America. You love Sharia, great. Live in a Muslim country and mind your own business.
spankdmonkey: The hijab is a dress of opression that stupid jelous arabs make their wives wear because they dont want anyone looking at their wives or daughters
.Okay some arabs wear it out of choice in foreign countries but why are they wearing it ?? Because they know no better, they have been opressed all their lives .Plus they wear it to make daddy and hubby and brother happy or because mummy done it all her life so now daughter has to do it ..
Everyone knows in the arab countries western women have to wear a head scarf or in some arab countries they have to wear the full monty
.And if they dont they will either be thrown in jail or expelled or whipped . And thats the least they can expect the worse is stoning. raped, lashed, flogged, killed. etc etc .So why the fark should they be allowed to wear it in my country ??
.everytime i see one wearing it, i feel like im being opressed to see it happen in my free country .Just recently we had a hijab women of lebanon get pulled over by a police officer and was asked to remove her hijab she refused,
she then went on to abuse the officer doing his job and calling him a racist and a tyrade of abuse the officer was polite the whole time issued her with a traffic fine for not having her P plates on
.Later a arab woman walked into a police station and made a formal comp[laint that the officer was a racist and racialy abused her and threatened her .It all hit the newspapers the officer was investigated and when the officer produced the car video and audio equipment it was found that he was a thorough gentleman was polite
.And this woman made the whole story up so the police then arrested her for making a false and misleading statement about the police officer
.When she went to court she beat the charges because no one bothered to see her face when she made the complaint so there was no evidence she was the woman that made the complaint . In the end the laws are changed now rushed through parliam ent and they now have to remove their hijab for identification purposes .We had this problem in the 60s 70s the ban the bra revolution they should have one burn the hijab
Sarcastic Dots: Okay some arabs wear it out of choice in foreign countries but why are they wearing it ??
I dunno man. Back in high school I had a huge fight with two girls wearing the hijab because I couldn't wrap my mind around it. However, they simply said they wore it because they want to wear it.
To me, with a few years more experience, I can kind of see where they are coming from. It's no different from wearing a cross, wedding ring or anything else that could be deemed as religious. We wear stuff because we want to wear it and that's all that matters. Sure, there are situations where people are forced to dress a certain way and that certainly isn't exclusive to religion... If I asked my dad if I could go to school wearing a dress, you better bet he'd have stopped me.
But it's all kind of sad, really. There are more important things to worry about.
As for this.
".everytime i see one wearing it, i feel like im being opressed to see it happen in my free country .Just recently we had a hijab women of lebanon get pulled over by a police officer and was asked to remove her hijab she refused,
she then went on to abuse the officer doing his job and calling him a racist and a tyrade of abuse the officer was polite the whole time issued her with a traffic fine for not having her P plates on "
This is typical of a police officers job though. Everyone and anyone tries to get out of get out of a speed ticket. I mean, Mel Gibson is a white catholic and went on a rant against jews, but does that mean it's indicative of catholicism? No, it means somebody got pulled over and they were
b) Didn't want to pay a ticket.
And finally this.
".everytime i see one wearing it, i feel like im being opressed to see it happen in my free country "
Give me a break. Freedom means the freedom to dress however the hell you want. In certain countries it is illegal for a man to walk around topless because women aren't allowed... And these aren't arabic countries either. So, you know, by your own logic your image could be offensive to some people... I mean it isn't to me, but then I'm not the one complaining about how dress codes make me feel oppressed.
(Edited by Sarcastic Dots)
RahGuzaR: The idea you have of woman being oppressed in Islam is wrong, she is just following the dress code their religion Islam has defined.
Muslims woman feel more secured while their are fully covered cause they don't want men steering at her.
Muslim woman are only allowed to be touched and seen half naked by their husband unlike woman in west who don't mind wearing revealing dress or sleep with fifty men before finally getting married with the dream man .
Coming back to the point, She shouldn't have been attacked on the basis that she was wearing a scarf thats like talking about freedom and not letting people dress how they want.
lavendar_star: OK, Rah please don't make generalisation about women in the West and if some choose to sleep with many men or a few before they decide to get married or not and/or how they dress thats their decision and should not be dictated by religion or any man in my opinion that is completely wrong. On the point of attack I have made my point before, its their choice in a free and democratic society as the UK should be and nobody should be attacked or condemn on how they choose to dress, as u seem to be doing to Western women.

Np19: im sure you were david, your already proven to be a hate monger i didnt expect anything less from you
Np19: first of all at which point have i said i want to exterminate 14 million jews or even you for that matter? secondly iam not anti-simetic my ancestory is jewish, (i happen to be from one of the lost 10 tribes of the israelites) my problem is with people who commit atrocities and people who harm the innocent!!!
if someone speaks out against israel if that makes them extremist or radical then this is a sad world we are living in. once again let me reiterate what i said earlier!! this post isnt to make excuses for why a woman was attacked or to justify it, it was to condem this random act of violence!!
Then one would think you would be at least balanced with your comments regarding all parties involved which unless I have missed, you have not been.
Israeli Basic Laws / Human Rights and Dignity - Declares basic human rights in Israel are based on the recognition of the value of man, the sanctity of his life and the fact that he is free. Defines human freedom as right to leave and enter the country, privacy (including speech, writings, and notes), intimacy, and protection from unlawful searches of one's person or property.
No where in the Israeli Basic Laws is there any statement about killing Palestinians much less anyone else yet in the Hamas Charter there are statements about effectively causing genocide on the Israeli population. Why not discuss the Hamas Charter?
Np19: first of all david i dont agree with the modern jihadist who kill non combatants and that includes hamas. anybody that isnt following the rules of war and engages in hurting the innocent, the women the chilldren and the old i am against them 100%
iam against suicide bombings no matter what the circumstances they are absoloutley not acceptable.
above you have listed the isareli basic laws etc that does not mean they always abide by it.
i do believe the isareli government has blood on its hands based on its war crimes and the same goes to hamas the u.s etc.
yes you disagree with my religious views and u have every right to disagree with me.. however i have never wished death on the jews, your family or any innocent individual. infact iam against any sort of agression that causes death and suffering to the innocent.
Is it not true that the koran state that you should kill the unbelievers or something like that? I read alittle of it some time ago and im pretty sure that is repeated quite often. And then you say this is the law of god and must be followed?
Doesnt this make Hamas and whatnot right in the eyes of a "true" muslim?
Np19: no beause the rules of war are that you cannot kill people who are non combatants, women or chilldren, it is forbidden to take your life no matter what the circumstances. so if hamas are killing innocent jews then this is wrong and if they are doing suicide attacks tthis is forbidden also.
in regards to the verse u quoted above it was revealed at the time when the prophet mohammed was at war with the people who opposed him, the unvbelievers in the verse is reffering to the people who attacked him and his followers at the time.
this is the problem when your reading any sort of biblical texts, you must know why it was revelaed and what the context of the verse is. the above does not mean you can kill anyone who dont wanna be muslim it was revealed for that time only.
Np19: God decrees: Fight in the way of God against those who fight against you, but do not transgress. God does not love transgressors (2:190).
O people! I charge you with ten rules; learn them well!
Do no betray or misappropriate any part of the booty; do not practice treachery or mutilation. Do not kill a young child, an old man, or a woman. Do not uproot or burn palms or cut down fruitful trees. Do not slaughter a sheep or a cow or a camel, except for food. You will meet people who have set themselves apart in hermitages; leave them to accomplish the purpose for which they have done this. You will come upon people who will bring you dishes with various kinds of foods. If you partake of them, pronounce God's name over what you eat. You will meet people who have shaved the crown of their heads, leaving a band of hair around it. Go in Gods name, and may God protect you from sword and pestilence.
The Qur'an commands Muslims to make a proper declaration of war prior to the commencement of military operations. Thus, surprise attacks are illegal under the Islamic jurisprudence.
