I KNEW someone would bring up Watergate!

Let's not confuse a conspiracy, and the reporting of such, with what is commonly referred to as a conspiracy theory.

Watergate began as a simple reporting of the interrupted burglary of the Washington headquarters of the Democratic National Committee, and the preliminary hearing for the defendants in that case. It very well could have gone no further than that.

The testimony during that preliminary hearing, and the people who attended it, were reported upon, and investigated. Each time something was investigated by Woodward and Bernstein, something else would come up, which was reported and subsequently investigated, eventually leading to Nixon's resignation.

It was Pulitzer winning investigative work by two dilligent reporters that both revealed, and to some degree, caused Watergate as the conspirators reacted by committing further criminal acts as the story came to light and was reported upon.

Now, if Woodward and Bernstein had reported on the facts, as they did, and then leapt to a conclusion that it was all part of a conspiracy by ... oh ... the Illuminati ... yeah, them ... to supress the freedom of the American people and pave the way for the eventual arrival of the Lizard People from Uranus ...

Well, then that would have been a conspiracy theory.

SITS I'm just ranting ? 911 WILL BE confirmed as complicity by the BUSH U.S. government in a vain attempt to invade a country to control it's resources,you only need to look at the right sources to notice something is evident.It isn't the first time sonny the U.S. has lied to the public in general only to be caught out later under the freedom of information.

And don't make me list some !

You only want to NOT believe there are such people in the U.S of A high up in the food chain who will actually DO or be complicit in evil acts because your American mate.

You may say I'm using dodgy sources or believing nutters BUT ! the fact remains that there is REAL evidence YOUR government is complicit in the deaths of innocent U.S. citizens.What's a few thousand lives in the quest for trillions of oil revenue in petro dollars EH ? especially if your the president and own an oil company.

A FACT here Saddam just before 911 started to trade in petro euros ! why you ask is that relevant ? because Saddam traded in petro euros the U.S. economy and your dodgy FED reserve would have collapsed because NO more petro dollars to the FED in interest on the dollar,and if the rest of the middle east traded in euros the U.S. was FCUKED.So they had to do something.

The list is endless in evidence against your BUSH admin but I fear you have the blinkers on.I can't believe that you actually believe the shit you get spoonfed through your media.

The higher up the ladder in politics or corporations etc you get the bigger the conspiracies get and that's a truth.

And it being used as a convenient incident to allow the then Republican administration to bring in all sorts of legislation and carry out acts that they had wanted for years, maybe decades.

I'd suggest that rather than being complicit in the event, the Bush administration were culpable of nothing more than perhaps instigating it through their foreign policies, and then capitalising on the event in the most immoral way in order to please the mob.

hellbhoy: SITS your either really lazy or just ignorant to the unanswered questions many respected figures in the world.There are numerous questions not answered by the Bush & Cheney administration and have been suppressed and even the official report on 911 is dodgy to say the least and does not answer the important questions raised by hundreds of top academic scientists.

Like I say to most on here if you don't believe it then surf the net for evidence 911 was a cover up or inside job ............... there's thousands of academics posting articles asking REAL questions and showing REAL evidence ............. I'll put one item forth for you !

A plane falls out of the sky over the Atlantic and the U.S. government spend umpteen tens of millions recovering the wreckage and a lengthy investigation on why it fell ! the Bush admin spend 3 million on the worst attack on America since Pearl Harbor ! The metal remains of the twin towers are shipped to China within days or weeks ? why ? when they should have been investigated like any other disaster in minute detail ! and the the way which building number 7 next to the towers fell "look at YouTube 911 building number 7" ! it was a controlled demolition from the bottom up and building number 7 had all the FBI CIA and other such organizations headquarters and records there ! destroyed.The Pentagon attack ! took out the only office with records of the U.S. defense budget deficit of $1.3 trillion of untraceable accounts ! coincidence ? because Donald H. Rumsfeld was on national TV explaining the day before on the 8th of September that they could not account for the deficit and had no idea where the money went and conveniently the records office was completely destroyed so $1.3 trillion is wiped out and forgotten about.These are just some of the linked unanswered questions to 911 as well as many many more leading to a conspiracy of the highest in modern day.

LiptonCambell: lol i don't know about you, but i ran out of interest of 9/11 conspiracies shortly after being exposed by them. I don't believe them for one simple reason;

Bush and his administration are completely useless and incapable of pulling off such a thing. I'm not saying they're incapable of evil- rather, they are fools, and are completely unable of keeping such a secret.

That's why I don't like conspiracy theories....they give government officials way too much credit.
