motherfingsuperwoman: Is one gender worse than the older in their teens?


I hear that girls are worse as teens than boys. Do you find this to be true?

Dalai Mama: well.....my mom had 4 boys and 6 girls...she said hands down boys are easier in their teens...i sure hope so

Leon35: Mother, I can't say who is worse, boys or girls, but one takes more worry and more money to raise.

Girls have to have make up, clothes, and different toys then boys. Boys in the other hand are more indenpendent and do not ask for much. But, again girls learn faster and can do better then boys in many areas. So.. take your pick ?

There are a lot of emotional things with daughters, and the times when I just want to rip my hair out (or hers lol) but so rewarding when they trust you and come to you for guidance!

Being a mom is the most amazing thing ever to me!

Hyenablood: girls tend to have lots and lots of little trinkets, toys, stuff where as boys not so much, and girls mature sooner, but not always. Guys are more adventages, which can get them into trouble if not guided properly, girls can be like this too, but generally don't take as many risk as boys.

Id go with boys being the easier to deal with. You still have your drama and tantrums but with boys (in my experience) its all in the moment. They dont drag it out or re-hash it hours later.

I find that I myself have to be the one to pull my head in as they have gotten over it all and moved on.

Its actually been good for me having all boys, as its taught me not to carry on over the top and drag crap out.
