There was an article in the globe earlier this month about a certain enzyme missing from sperm that makes it much harder to travel through the mucus of the uterine wall.
(As if it wasn't hard enough for the little spermies!!!)

We have not at this point gone to the doctors to determine our issues, but the first thing you should do if your healthcare is covered is to go to the doctors and have the sperm count checked.

Getting fertility testing done on a female is a lot more invasive than it is with a male. Get that out of the way before exploring further into it.
