there are numerous ways to find friends for your child(ren), even going to a local "fast food" outlet with a playground, or just to a park with a playground.

xxsweetyxx: hey i was in the same boat as you when me and my son moved 5 months ago my son 17months now, n all i did was ask my health visitor the clinics have like soft play and things like that, best bet is to talk to your health visitor see if there is any eg: messy time, out door play things like that she ll love it just idea x

auscangirl: Here in British Columbia Canada most cities have drop in play time for children 0-6years old.
I would check with your local municipality and see if they have anything going.

motherfingsuperwoman: In the meantime get your butt down to her level, a 6mo is going to take interaction from whomever and flourish with it. Doesn't have to be another 6mo.
