For example, the ones who did real work that lea to breaking the code were all men.

More than just that, the men that broke the Enigma code, used theorems made by other men, such as the Bayesian theorem by Thomas Bayes.

The only thing that is not done men is giving birth fo those great men. They wanted fathers and (obviously) mothers. So the only female contribution in the Enigma story is giving birth to the right men at the right time using the right husband.

If XY is 50% Y, it doesn't mean that an XY person is 50% female. Because there is the combinatorics effect. When you combine two things, they could produce something utterly differnt.

But Rosalind Franklin, whose work was vital to their discovery, was a female.

Florence Nightingale invented the pie chart - while she wasn't the first to develop statistics, the process of systematic analysis was invented by her.

Ada Lovelace's work was later validated using a virtual representation of Babbage's computation engine.

Also Ada's work is easy peasy stuff too. It never affected how we understand of machines.

As for Rosalind Franklin. I haven't looked at her yet. But so what? A few tens of good contributions from women? That's rather an exception to the rule.

Although I'm sure if I look at it in details. I'll find that Rosalind's work is actually a trivial step forward.

I am suggesting that men and women have differences, and therefore each tends to excel in different directions.

It's a fact that men are better at science. History shows it and it repeats itself every day. Exceptions to the rule exist (but these are exceptions).
