I hate the fact that they ate them, Budgies are very cute and I used to have some pets that were Budgies, even at first when I had my last Cockatiel. I really do miss him, some people have a cold, Stone Heart.

THE BALLUK-WILLIAM (WIll.I.AM ?) CLAN. : See above. They lived south of the Yarra Valley extending down to Dandenong, Cranbourne and Koo-wee-rup Swamp. In other words areas that are now eastern and south east Melbourne, as well as some areas east and south east of Melbourne.

THE GUNNUNG-WILLIAM-BALLUK CLAN. : As above. They lived east of The Great Dividing Ranges and north to (what is now) Lancefield. They were in an area north west of what is now Melbourne.

THE KURUNG-JANG-BALLUK CLAN. : As above. They lived along the Werribee River all the way over to (what is now) Sunbury. They lived in areas that are now west and north west of Melbourne.

THE MARIN-BALLUK (BOI-BERRIT) CLAN. : As above. They lived on land west of the Maribyrnong River and Sunbury. Areas of what are now west of Melbourne, northern Melbourne, north west and north of Melbourne.

THE KURNAJE-BERREING CLAN.: As above. The lived on the land between the Maribyrnong and Yarra Rivers. They lived in the area of what is now western Melbourne in other words, which back then was mainly made up of swampland.

WATHA WURRUNGS. : As above. They lived in areas of what is now western Melbourne, north west of Melbourne, west of Melbourne, south west to Geelong and south west past Geelong.

BUN WURRUNGS. : As above. They live in what is now southern Melbourne and areas south of Melbourne (including a spot that my worst nightmare became true and I hope they raze that place to the ground after evacuating people and providing them with houses elsewhere then let the place become submerged) and areas south east of Melbourne including Wilson's Promontory which I would give my left nut to visit.

YARRA YARRAS. : See Watha Wurrungs. They lived somewhere along the Yarra, also around what is now Central Melbourne and north of it in what is now northern Melbourne, my own personal Hell on Earth.

TASMANIAN TRIBES. : PAREDARERMES. : They hunted Common Ringtail Possums, Sugar Gliders, Little Pygmy-Possums, Eastern Pygmy-Possums, Tasmanian Bettongs, Tasmanian Pademelons, Red-necked Wallabies, Swamp Wallabies, Eastern Grey Kangaroos, Tasmanian Eastern Grey Kangaroos and Macropus titan Kangaroos.

PAREDARERME BANDS. : LEETERMAIRREMENERS. : Their territory was at what is now Saint Patrick's Head and that of the surrounding area near Saint Mary's, I have been to Saint Mary's a few times now. Seasonal migration - In October they would move inland to what is now the Saint Pauls and Break o'Day Rivers or up the Meredith River to the Elizabeth River area. Back then what is now Saint Patrick's Head was actually landlocked.

LINTEMAIRRENERS. : Their territory is at what is now north of Great Oyster Bay. The seasonal migration is as above.

LOONTITETERMAIRRELEHOINNERS. : Their territory is at what is now North Oyster Bay which was landlocked back then.

TOORERNOMAIRREMENERS. : As above. Their territory was at Schouten Passage, back then though Schouten passage was a dry land bridge to what is now Schouten Island.

POREDAREMES. : Their territory was what is now Little Swanport which back then was landlocked. Seasonal migration - In August they used to move west to the now named Eastern Marshes and through (the now) Saint Peters pass to The Big River Country (as it is now named) before heading back to Little Swanport in January. Of course they didn't have those names for those months back then.

LAREMAIRREMENERS. : As above. Their territory was Grindstone Bay, as it is now called, which was landlocked back then.

TYREDDEMES. : As above. Their territory was Maria Island, as it is now named. I could grumble a lot about that name but I won't, not from a lack of wanting to grumble about that name though. Anyway back then Maria Island wasn't isolated from the mainland or from others, due to a land bridge. Pity that there was no isolation, I mean for the island that is. Er, ummm, yeah. Okay ! Let's I will quickly change the subject now !

PORTMAIRREMENERS. : Their territory was the Prosser River. See Poredaremes for information on the seasonal migration.

PYDAIRRERMES. : See above. Their territory was the Tasman Peninsula, which was landlocked back then.

MOOMAIRREMENERS. : Their territory was in what is now Pittwater and Risdon, in Hobart where my ex lives, every time I go down that way I get nervous because I will do anything to avoid seeing her again, I just don't want anything to do with her any more. Moomairremeners tended to move inland later than the other bands, they left left between September and October before they returned to the coast in June. Though these areas were actually landlocked at the time.

Yes, yo'all, Yo all, like that yo'all, their hood, I mean turf, I mean territory was what is now named West Point, I only went their once, I saw a Wombat their to this day I'm still concerned about, I hope it got better and didn't die, also I assumed that it was the most western point of Tasmania proper, that little hitch hike effort made me miss my flight back to the mainland at the time. The area is so isolated, even from cars. Bluff Point is further west. West Point back in the time of the last Ice Age was land locked.

MANEGINS. : See above. Their territory was in what is now the Arthur River mouth, back then it was landlocked, as was what is now known as Sandy Cape.

TARKINENERS. : Their territory was Sandy Cape. See above.

PETERNIDICS. : See above. Their territory was the mouth of the Pieman River, Pies, yumm ! Back then the area was landlocked.

THE SOUTH WEST TRIBE. : BANDS OF THE SOUTH WEST TRIBE. : See above. Their territory was in what is now Macquarie Harbour which was landlocked back then.

LOWEREENES. : See above. Their territory was Low Rocky Point as it is now called, it was landlocked back then. They were also named the Toogee Tribe, collectively with the Ninegins/Minegins.

OTHERS : It is not known for sure how many bands of the South East tribe there was during the Ice Age, the guess is, though there is no information to prove it, that there was up to ten bands all up of the South East tribe, the location of the bands other than the four shown above is unknown due to a lack of information to show how many there were and that of their location if there was up to ten bands all up.

All of the above tribes in Tasmania lived in landlocked forest covered areas due to the lower sea levels because of the increased amount of trapped water in the way of Ice Sheets etc around the world.
