chronology: George Washington Carver, the 'Peanut genius' of the South. Some folks are motivated by money, others by love of fame, but for George Washington Carver it was his love of the people of the South, and mankind in general that drove him to discover countless uses for Peanuts, Sweet Potatoes and other Crops. Over 300 uses for Peanuts, from lubricants to paints and fuels are credited to him.

Carver also had almost 'mystical' insights into the health of soil and plants, but like Tesla he found Mystics are not understood by the Media.

chronology: Russia has vast open expanses of beautiful and sparsely populated countryside. Many folks just cannot resist the temptation to ski and hike. A party of Russian Hikers did just that in 1959, tragically they all died and mystery has surrounded their deaths to this day. Dyatalov Pass in 1959 was the scene of the tragedy. For some investigators there is no mystery at all to the tragic loss of life, the Russian young folks were hit by a 'side avalanche' this is a low wave like movement of snow that occurs on slightly slanted ground, it can kill unsuspecting ski enthusiasts.

But a new explanation has been proposed by investigators; 'Infasound'. they claim the shape of the ground surrounding the Hikers Camp created high levels of Infasound from high winds rolling over the snow covered turf. Infasound can create feelings of panic and anxiety in people who only hear the sound unconsciously as it is below normal hearing frequencies. Infasound is also used as an explanation for the 'screams' and 'voices' people hear in haunted houses that are not recorded on recording equipment.

Experienced Hikers still hold to the obvious solution' 'Avalanche'.

chronology: 'The Iluminatti. There really was a group called 'The Iluminatti'. They were a group of secret society members in Bavaria Germany. But the German King had them banned on the insistence of the Catholic Church as they support ideas seen as too radical for the time. Since then various Groups claiming to be the 'Iluminatti' have supposedly continued the manipulation of world events. Is there any proof to support such suspicions of a radical secret society? none at all. According to David Icke, a genetic blood line known as 'The Babylonian Brotherhood' is the real power behind world events. These people, or part people, are humans with Demonic DNA traises left over from the Nephelim beings who were the children of human females and fallen Angels. 'The Babylonian Brotherhood' supposedly run Hollywood, The White House and Wall Street. Is there any proof of this? none at all.

lori100: A researcher once noted that sons of presidents will very often die young. ------Wead writes."Twenty-six children of presidents died before the age of five, and dozens more before they reached thirty. Rutherford B. Hayes had seven children; three died before their second birthday. John Tyler lost three of his adult daughters within a six-year period. . . . William McKinley and Franklin Pierce saw all their children die." John and John Quincy Adams each buried two of their children. Thomas Jefferson buried five of six children; Abraham Lincoln two of four. The curse continued into a more modern era of medicine: Franklin Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower, John Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and the elder George Bush all buried young children. John Adams could not speak for years of his one-year-old daughter. One of Jefferson's daughters died at four months; he carried a lock of her hair all his life."Grover Cleveland found the death of his twelve-year-old Ruth 'almost unbearable,'" Wead notes. The notoriously detached John Kennedy had to be pried away from his infant son's coffin."Calvin Coolidge was a 'different person' after the passing of his teenage son." - See more at: http://hnn.us/article/1518#sthash.IeDCyZVa.dpuf

Lori, with respect, this time I have no idea what you are saying at all. Are you saying U.S. Presidents killed their own children like something from 'Rosemary's Baby', I don't get that at all. A John Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy lookalike are in Rosemary's Baby, supposedy hosting a gathering to conceive the Anti Christ, but Lori dear girl, that is all fiction.

Some people say it 'is' Jackie Kennedy coming down the stairs in long flowing robes in the Movie, but it just looks like her.

chronology: Lori, please do not get me onto the subject of 'statistics' from the U.S. For the last 20 years some of us have been yelling our heads off trying to warn Americans their country is sliding down the pan, you would be amazed how indifferent folks in the U.S. are.

Around 1940, when U.S. Federal Agencies began collecting statistics on the health and well being of Americans and their economy, America was the envy of the world. Two graphs, one showing the rising living standards of working Americans, the other showing the growth of the U.S. economic wealth rose steadily year after side by side, American workers, Private Sector and Federal were enjoying a share in their countries success, and enjoying rising living standards., but then around 1980, something dramatic happened to that graph, while the wealth of the top 10 percent of society began a steady and sharp rise, the graph indicating the well being of the rest of America began a steady falling behind, and the situation has never recovered since.

America is also the place of the biggest 'Asset Stripping' orgy in history since 1980. Perfectly healthy companies have been run into the ground and then sold off after being disembowelled. The lasts target being cut in the water to attract the sharks is the U.S. Postal Service.

The answer to all this madness is for Americans to see through the fog of Media misinformation and realise their country needs to return to successful 'New Deal' policies that worked well until they were taken away. It is still not too late to save 'Columbia'.

For statistic comparisons, you have to compare apples to apples and not to oranges. If you want to compare the US to other countries, how about a country that is around the same size as the US population of 318 million individuals, of which 115 million citizens or 36% of the population pay taxes and where 16% of the population are retired.

Ever since the dollar was taken off of the gold standard, I beleive we have had financial issues keeping us from producing numerous items like steel, TV's, and so on. Unions would not negotiate. Banks created ingenious ways to make money which of course, we all felt in the last decade. However, it is different this time. The dollar always recovered however, this time....we are 17 trillion in debt with no end in sight. The CBO believes we will have a 20.5 trillion in debt in 2018. We have around 130 trillion in unfunded liabilities and that too, no end in sight. In the next ten years, the debt will go up....unless...we make some hard choices.

What really sucks...The US government can not properly take care of its military veterans and families and money, is the the problem. It's the management and labor. We will not be able to tackle hard issues if we are unable to do what is right for the veterans. Deplorable.

We need change.

'Huh' you may think 'who is Travis Walton'? well Travis says he was taken onto a Space Ship by Aliens, held for 5 days and sodomised with medical instruments. But Travis at the time was a sensation, and an associate of the National Enquirer after leaving the Space Ship.

Not since Amy Semple MaCpherson came stumbling out of the desert after being 'abducted' have Americans been so divided about a supposed 'kidnapping' story. Some believe both people were kidnapped by someone or something, others dismiss both stories as BS.

chronology: 'Democracy Now'. A curious point most people forget about Cuba is that the Revolution in Cuba that overthrew the Batista Dictatorship was never communist. Fidel Castro was not a communist leader, or even a card carrying communist. The Revolution led by Fidel Castro began as a movement to topple the unpopular dictatorship of Batista and establish Cuba as a democracy. However, when Fidel Castro began meetings with American Officials in Washington after he became leader to agree upon the Terms of the relationship between Washington and Havana, he received a frosty greeting and mistrust from Washington Department Heads. One of the first and most hostile American Politicians was Richard M Nixon. Mr Nixon circulated a Memorandum to C.I.A. State Department and other State Departments expressing his concern about Fidel Castro's own communist sympathies and the influence of communists in his new Government. From that time on Washington and Mr Castro never really felt comfortable together, and Mr Eisenhower instigated 'Black Ops' to overthrow the new Cuban Government. After two years of chilly relations Mr Castro declared the Soviet Union a good friend, and himself a 'Marxist Lennonist'.

It is fascinating to think what would have been history if Washington had began by welcoming Mr Castro. Perhaps Mr Castro and Che Guevara would have been at the White House Ball after Mr Nixon's successful Election, puffing away on Cigars and complimenting Mr Nixon on his beautiful daughters. Perhaps Disney Land would have been in Havana not Orlando.

chronology: The Mystery of Flight 007. 1983 was a tragic year for passengers on KAL 007. According to popular history the plane was shot down in the Soviet far east killing all passengers. But did passengers actually survive? were they held prisoner secretly in Russia?

According to some reports, Flight 007 continued flying for 10 minutes after it was shot by Soviet Interceptors. What happened after that we simply do not know. Even Soviet Air Traffic Controlers had no idea where the plane went. 'People heard it ''went off Radar'' and presumed it crashed or exploded. but the plane simply went below our ability to track the plane' said a Soviet Radar man who was watching the screens at the time.

It seems likely that Flight 007 did 'crash and splash' in a forced landing at sea, but that does not rule out dozens of survivors, an Eastern Airline Tri Star crash in the Everglades saw over 70 survivors.

There were persistent rumours of American 'Prisoners' being sent to secret prisons in Siberia, Con Larry MaCdonald was rumoured to have been taken to a secret prison in Moscow and injected with drugs and tortured by the KGB to try and get secrets from him. He was said to have been brain washed and drugged into forgetting who he was later on and sent to live in a remote village.

There is no proof at all to support the conspiracy theories about Flight 007, but it is worth remembering the Flight was considered a 'Spy Plane' by the Soviets, and Larry MaCdonald was an outspoken critic of what he called an Evil Empire of Super Capitalists and Godless Communists, and as said, over 70 people 'did' survive a similar crash in Florida.

chronology: 'Space changes the way you look'. A curious side effect of Zero Gravity is that it changes the facial features of Astronauts. Col Michael Collins once remembered how he was startled when he looked at Col Buzz Aldrin; 'Buzz looked like a Chinaman' said Mike Collins. Even the photogenic Neil Armstrong lost his 'All American' fresh face after a few days in Zero G. Part of the distorting effect of Zero Gravity is blood tends to swell the face without gravity pulling it down. Astronauts also say the most irritating effect of weightlessness is the way fluid in the inner ear 'sloshes around' in the inner ear. Sinus pain and swelling is also an annoying side effect.
