lori100: sottnet-------------------Rough 'super-deep diamond' gives clues Earth may have 'wet zone' 410km down------------A small, battered diamond found in the gravel strewn along a shallow riverbed in Brazil has provided evidence of a vast "wet zone" deep inside the Earth that could hold as much water as all the world's oceans put together.

The water is not sloshing around inside the planet, but is held fast within minerals in what is known as the Earth's transition zone, which stretches from 410 to 660km (250-400 miles) beneath the surface.

"It's not a Jules Verne-style ocean you can sail a boat on," said Graham Pearson, a geologist who studied the stone at the University of Alberta. The water-rich zone could transform scientists' understanding of how some of the Earth's geological features arose.

Tests on the diamond revealed that it contained a water-rich mineral formed in the zone. Researchers believe that the gemstone, which is oblong and about 5mm long, was blasted to the surface from a depth of about 500km by a volcanic eruption of molten rock called kimberlite.

Docky Duncan, a research assistant with UBC's Visual Cognition Lab, said in an interview Tuesday that the project is "off the beaten track" and there has been "incredible difficulty" getting even the modest $2,000 in funding it needs.

"The research methodology is so strange, using the Ouija board and all, that it might be a little too controversial for most grant organizations," he said.

chronology: In the worlds deepest mine, a South African Gold mine, there are gangs of thieves operating secret mining sites scooping out tons of Gold ore to process. The thief gangs live for months deep in the mine, which is two and a half miles under ground. They get food by buying sandwiches off legal miners at high prices. A miner can cover the cost of his lunch box just by selling a sandwich to a criminal miner. Mine Security Staff long ago gave up trying to find and drive out the thief gangs, with 260 miles of tunnels to search, and AK47 wielding gang members it is just not worth the risk. The thieves are sometimes called 'Ghost Gangs'. After being underground for months, their skin goes pale grey and ghost like. With thousands of miners coming and going every day, the thief gangs just slip in and out with the shift changes at the mine. To keep the thieves in tip top moral, prostitutes are smuggled down the mine and the thieves enjoy a 'roll in the gold dust' at high prices with women.

chronology: People who read the story of tragic Sharon Tate still notice erie coincidences in the death of the beautiful actress. On the night Sharon died, at the time judged to be her death, a movie was showing on T.V. in Los Angeles. It was a Vampire Movie. A scene in the Movie played as Sharon lay dieing, it was a scene where a Vampire stood before a room full of Vampires and in front of a large curtain; 'and for your enjoyment, we have this to offer' says the vampire as he pulls back the curtain revealing a woman standing who looks like Ms Tate.

chronology: Mia Farrows strange premonition. Mia Farrow had been a close friend of John Lennon the singer, they had travelled to India together to visit a Guru there. In the Movie 'Rosemary's Baby' Ms Farrow is shown in a scene turning away in shock from a dead person lying outside the Dakota Building in New York.. 12 years later, Lennon would be shot in the exact same spot outside the Dakota.

John Lennon himself sang a song that would be connected to the Rosemary's Baby Director, Mr Roman Polanski. In a song 'Sexy Sadie' Lennon repeats the lines over and over 'sexy Sadie what have you done'. Mr Polanski's wife, Sharon Tate, would be murdered by Susan Atkins who, after shouting at tragic Sharon 'I have no mercy for you bitch' stabbed the Actress and licked the blood off the knife. Atkins was better known in Los Angeles as 'Sadie' May Glutz.

lori100: Newly Found Megalithic Ruins In Russia Contain The Largest Blocks Of Stone Ever Discovered -------------------On Mount Shoria in southern Siberia, researchers have found an absolutely massive wall of granite stones. Some of these gigantic granite stones are estimated to weigh more than 3,000 tons, and as you will see below, many of them were cut “with flat surfaces, right angles, and sharp corners”. Nothing of this magnitude has ever been discovered before. The largest stone found at the megalithic ruins at Baalbek, Lebanon is less than 1,500 tons. So how in the world did someone cut 3,000 ton granite stones with extreme precision, transport them up the side of a mountain and stack them 40 meters high?--------------Some events that were happening during the autumn expedition could probably be called mystical. The compasses of the geologists behaved very strangely, for some unknown reason their arrows were deviating from the megaliths.

chronology: Lori. I have not had chance to check out the Russian Stones, but the Balbeck Stones have long been debunked as the Romans placed them as support stones for one of their Theatres. The Romans used multiple lifting hoists to do the job.

Like I said Lori, if these 'Space Brothers' do exist they may not be the friendly beings you take them for. Watch Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus'. If they ever do return, you may find yourself running for your life like the Hollywood folks in L.A.

chronology: Even before her death Sharon Tate was often the centre of eerie incidents. A few months before the incident at Cielo Drive, Sharon was drinking Coffee in a Café in Rome with an Actor friend. Sharon asked the Actor if he believed in life after death, she went on to say she had lived before and had died at the age of 9 as a girl; the Actor recalled, 'just as she said that, the doors of the Cefe blew inwards opening completely, there was no wind outside at all, I have no idea how that happened'.

It was while in Rome that Sharon made her last film 'Thirteen'. At the end of the Movie a man appears waving his arms about in a crazy way, the man looks exactly like ...........Charles Manson.

They proposed that the strange monument was once either an ancient long-distance communication system, or a Stone Age church bell system.

In Benedict Canyon Los Angeles the actor who played superman died in 1959, his ghost is still seen occasionally in the house he died in there, walking up stairs in his superman costume. But curiously, Sharon Tate's former home has never been the scene for reports of her shade. 10050 Ceilo Drive was torn down about 13 years after the murders and even the top soil was scooped up and dumpstered away. But while the house stood the reports of ghostly happenings were treated with suspicion by Californian Psy Experts who dismissed them as the result of too much booze and drugs. Almost 50 years have passed by and not one single credible psychic incident noted from the house that was the centre of a news story that shocked the entire world in 1969. Sharon Tate irrefutably had a premonition of her own death while staying in Benedict Canyon a year before, it was even reported in some American News Magazines at the time. Respected Californian Psy Expert Barry Taff is often outspoken in his contempt of 'Reality Haunting' TV shows, and he does not leave out the supposed 'findings' at Ceilo Drive, but he is convinced there is an 'energy' at the location.

But for Sharon Tate's loyal band of Fans, not hearing of her being seen around LA after her death like James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, and Orson Welles and other Stars must make them feel left out.

chronology: Most folks are astonished at Magic Tricks, but they can often guess how the Magician worked his illusion, but when David Copperfield made the Statue of Liberty disappear many people were simply nonplussed for an explanation, so how did David make 'Lady Liberty' vanish?

Mr Copperfield has never disclosed how he performed his feat, but some observers say it went like this' first David had his studio audience outside in a studio viewing the Statue, they could only see the statue through an archway in the outside studio, as could the live TV. A giant curtain was then drawn across the archway. Here is where the trick was accomplished, little did the audience know, the studio was set on mobile rollers which moved imperceptible and slightly beneath the audience. When the curtains were drawn back the audience were looking slightly to the left of Liberty which was just out of sight and they were seeing an empty ring of lights David is said to have placed in the water. He proved Liberty was ;gone; by shining search lights through the place where Liberty should have been. The curtains were again drawn, the studio returned to it's former position and 'hey presto' Liberty was back!

chronology: America's most controversial Photographs ever. As home to the worlds greatest Media Corporations and entertainment Industry millions of photographs are produced and circulated in the U.S.A. every day. Most create no reaction or debate and are forgotten within minutes of people seeing them. But occasionally photographs create a storm of debate among the American Public, two notable examples are photographs taken by Mary Moorman and Gary Gross.

In 1963 Mary Moorman photographed JFKs Assassination in Dallas moments after the President was shot. People seized on the photograph as proof of a 'Grassy Knoll Sniper'. Later, as the photograph was subjected to closer scrutiny the picture in fact showed no such proof, it fact it disproved the accusation of a 'Knoll Gunman'. Another Photograph by Ms Moorman has never been made Public as it was confiscated by the FBI. The photograph shows a man in the sixth floor window of the TSBD shooting at the President.

Gary Gross in 1975 took a series of photographs of the model and actress Brooke Shields completely naked, the photographs were published in a magazine sold in Main Street shops, Brooke was 10 years old when she was photographed nude. Outraged Americans attempted to have the Photographs banned, but a U.S. Court ruled they were not 'Child Pornography'.

In 1959 he joined the White House Army Signaling Agency and served under President Eisenhower and then under President Kennedy with an above top secret clearance. He was familiar with Project Blue Book and related how that project documented highly scientific and specific UFO cases from very reliable sources. ---He stated in meetings he watched Einsenhower often doodling various ufos shapes and sizes he had seen.

chronology: When Xray photography was first used in medicine many doctors were convinced they were hoaxes. One of England's leading scientists said Xrays would be exposed as fraud.

chronology: Advertisement slogans are usually short and catchy, 'Diamonds are for ever' (De Beers Diamonds), or 'Finger Lickin Good' (KFC).

But a few Slogans get lost in Translation. Pepsi had a famous 'Pepsi brings you back to life' but in China their slogan was read by Chinese people as; 'Pepsi brings your Ancestors back from the Dead'. Yikes!

chronology: Some Advertisers will go to any length to win customers. In the past in some U.S. States Prisoners condemned to be hanged would often be walked through a crowd into the execution yard. One creative advertiser quickly saw the possibilities and began paying condemned men to munch peanuts from a bag on their way to execution.
