Uhhmm...... (Page 2) Tashina_: Even tho mecury explained it so well and a book like that isnt possible....if it was I would not read the end cuz if you know what is gonna happen someday it would spoil every day until its gonna happen shoebert: I kinda like the Pop-up idea but mine would scare the crap out of whomever was reading it! Corwin: I think I'd rather wait for the movie to come out. But seriously, no... I would definitely not read that book... it would be far too pornographic for my fragile little mind. But seriously seriously... no... I wouldn't read it... I hate spoilers. shoebert: No, no, no. When you turn the page, folded things unfold. My book would have pop-ups of Broken thumb, rusted spike coming out the top of my sneaker, Screwdriver through hand, and other weird things that happened to me when I was growing up
shoebert: Accident prone! I have endured so much pain in my life that things like that hardly bother me anymore. I'm to the point where, if someone is going to get hurt, I'd rather it be me because I can handle it. I had intestine hanging out my side from a dirt bike accident. I just pushed it back in, dumped peroxide on it, and butterflied the wound. shoebert: My first occur acne with self-inflicted pain was when I was 5 years old and saw Mary Poppins for the first time and promptly went home, climbed out a window, and jumped off of out front porch roof. Geoff: If I couldn't change anything in it, I wouldn't see the point. Despite the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum physics, in that observing something changes it. However, I must dispute Merc's point on the infinite loop. Depending on how the book was written that wouldn't necessarily be the case. Even a detailed narrative would condense the act of reading the book. After all, once it has explained what you are doing, it would simply have to explain what effect it had on you; which would be considerably shorter than the time taken to read it. | Off Topic Chat Room Similar Conversations |
