Maybe it's just me.

ohnonotthatguy: All vehicles built pretty much in the past 25 years are equipped with auto running daylight lights, quit simple idea, you turn your ignition, motor starts and your lights turn on.
Why for the love of my pet rock to we need concrete posts with fucking lights on top of them to brighten the highways during the night.
I have fucking lights on my truck, car, motorcycle,I don't need to pay more taxes to power lights that I don't need. and bad also for the environment.

ohnonotthatguy: Why would i joke about such a thing.
As per driving I have only been doing it for the past 35 years,I have driven in 3 different continents from a 2 wheelers to a 18 wheeler, and no i am not a truck driver.
I can drive in the back country roads as I can drive in the asphalt jungles of highways and by-ways i don't need overhead lights to perform a simple driving task.
I don't panic when I see a ""rotunda"" instead of a stop sign or traffic lights to merge onto traffic.
Mr.Arnab lapan, where I reside pedestrians are not allowed onto highways nor are non motorized modes of transportation. therefore lights provided by automobiles is sufficient for me to drive on a deserted dirt country road at night it is also good enough to drive side by side a city slicker on a dark patch of asphalt that we call a highway.
where does Mr.Arnab live?

ohnonotthatguy: "T" brake downs, hitting deer or getting a flat will happen regardless.
Lights are needed in the country roads where traffic is minimal not on highways with hundreds of cars traveling no need for overhead lights

Whimsical Fairy: Well, if I hit a deer or got a flat out here, I wouldn't be bothered by the dark.

However, if those things happen on a stretch of interstate, it would mean I am a long way from home and chances are I would be alone.

I say, keep the lights on the interstate.

Whimsical Fairy: Well, personally I don't want to see lights put up on any of our back roads. I live here though so I could walk my roads blindfolded and get to where I wanted to be. I suppose ppl just traveling through would perhaps like some lighting though.

LOL, one guy whose car broke down a few years back walked up to our house and he thought one of the calves was a black bear

So, I suppose city dwellers might need some lights after all.

Stassi SUR: Some environmental issues are legitimate. For example, saving water, recycling, planting trees, installing motion detectors to save electricity and the likes. I like these ideas.

I've seen some of his previous posts my impression is--- it's just him.

Whimsical Fairy: I see. So you have seen posts of his, not pertaining to this thread whatsoever and you just decided to bounce on in and take a crap here.

I haven't seen you post anything of any value to the topic at hand.

Perhaps in the future you might consider "thinking" before you post in a thread so that you might not look so foolish to those around you

Umm and let him fight his own " battle" for him. He does not need you to defend him. I'm sure he is a very capable man.

I can say whatever I want to say (adhering TOS regs) and you are not telling me what to say or where I picked up my impression f a certain poster.

I think you are just bored and have nothing else to do on a beautiful Sunday noon.
I hope this is not your MO on a regular basis.

Well, I'm out for the rest of the afternnon. It's BEEEUTEEFOOL out there

You should too.

He asked an environmental-political question, I posted an environmental-related reply. You may not like the answer, that is your problem.

Prove that thread crapping occured here. You can't.

If anything, you are the one violating it. Picking fights and threats of TOS are violations.

throwing words like "thread crapping is a violation to the rules" does not & do not make it so

Thank you very much.
On my way------- out to a great afternoon

You should too.
