Whimsical Fairy: I think the lose of anyones "first love" can be very traumatic for the person still holding the flame. For some ppl it takes a very long time for them to process their feelings. I certainly don't think that makes a person a "control" freak...they are just seeking understanding and closure. I do think this is when a parent or another responsible adult needs to step in and help the person know how to process the pain they are feeling. Children can't be expected to know how to process feelings when adults themselves have so many issues doing that themselves. Pretty sure, where the majority of teenagers and strong emotions are concerned, cooler heads rarely prevail.
