Message for today © Comrade_: What is the sense copy & pasting Youtube videos on Children in Poverty or helpless people? Look around you, you have poor people in your country get up and do something about it instead of being a modern day dumbass who copy & paste these videos to solicited pity for yourself...it is sick. Take your money and donate to a reputable Fund for these people, make that effort even if you can't help those poor people then at least get off your fat bum and give the beggar outside something to eat. (Troll this thread and I'll embarrass you. If you have nothing good to say then don't comment) (Edited by Comrade_) I was here: Volunteer at the soup kitchen, they are always looking for help. Same with the food shelves and shelters. Good topic. VikiLT: Well said .anyone can say aw poor kids but few really do anything to help them . I include myself I never help in actions and it is a shame. whicever way you can help any kid do it . Comrade_: We have soup kitchens here, don't have to be a grand thing V, just old clothes but be careful because some homeless people still have their pride and might not want old stuff. Best to do it through an organisation unless that person comes up to ask you. VikiLT: clothes, toys anything. each country has organisations over kids and it costs nothing to us but means plenty to them Stewart75: Personally, I'm a regular famine donor... and have been for some years now... ... it comes straight out of my bank account on a monthly basis... Though I don't expect you dummies to believe that, because I'm really such an arsehole, right...? Need information on how you too can donate...?... then PM me... I'll give you all the details... Comrade_: Why are you trying to convince us that you donate? The topic isn't on you so stop being a pathetic ass and move away. Stewart75: BTW.. thanks for starting this thread... as it creates further awareness... Topic: Off Topic Comrade_: Next time don't call others dummies. Learn to have behaviour instead of insults or don't comment. k very simple. Stewart75: "K very simple" indeed, Uncle Jack... and one day when you have your own kids, you'll see why I feel so strongly about above topic... until then, you'll never understand... Comrade_: Strongly enough to troll on it? You can continue trolling here but I'll ignore you this time. I'll leave it to be on the topic and not give you the attention that you want for yourself. Stewart75: Watch and learn Uncle Jack... ... and in case you missed it earlier during all your temper, temper tantrums... well here it is again... Topic: Off Topic Comrade_: V, Lari did something like that last year. Instead of exchanging gifts we gave it to someone in our different countries. VikiLT: that is great!I didnt know that .My mom used to send every year clothes to an organisation in Georgia (asia) clothes mine or hristis that we didn't wear .but I personally did nothing ever. ~LoisLane~: I agree and I doubt that he does shit about that, if he did he would have bragged about it a long time ago to let everyone know what a great nice "Im only teasing and playin with ya" kind of guy he is.....*spits* Anyway, I help out in my community when I can with what I can. Its really hard to send things out to the other countries when you are sponsoring a child. You have to be sooo careful of what you send cuz the "rebels and ect" go threw the stuff and take what they want...SOBs....so I sent some pretty pictures that hopfully would only appeal to a child (Trains and Pretty scenes and what not) and maybe they would actually get them....Its a chance you have to take but I am willing to try. Most of the people in my family sponsor children.......If you can , why not. whether it be across the Globe or right in your hood. This year I am going to the food bank (which ever one needs more) and donating some food and clothes....(we usually do it at the grocery store but.....) I like to do things in my community that can actually make a difference. You dont want to donate food....Try some tooth paste and tooth brushes, soap, laundry Liquid, I mean theres tons of things people just cant afford and need a little help. I am sooo glad that at least they have this in my country to try to help people....Not soo lucky in other countries and thats a shame. DiIIy: Charity starts at home and I like to give when i can. The plight of those unfortunates over seas is deplorable but until their own governments pull their figures out of the charity pie i will be hesitant to donate. Stewart75: It's not something to really "brag" about Lois... though you're sure spouting off about your good deed... You see I donate because I feel it's the right thing to do.. and I can afford to do so... as I have a well paid successful career Lois... ... it's referred to as "giving back"... You really are a bitter old lady, aren't you Lois... ... that's a rhetorical question Lois... meaning it requires no reply... .. (Post deleted by BadBadLucid ) ~LoisLane~: Sure stewart....what ever you say there buddy. @Lucid I totally agree and I also do so....I usually do a little more at Christmas time tho, seems when people are the most depressed about money and what not... (Post deleted by BadBadLucid ) ~LoisLane~: That is completely sweet!!! Stuff like that counts too in such a big way....I love that!!! | Off Topic Chat Room Similar Conversations |
