Revelation chapter 20 verse 14

Comrade_: hmm so Hell (the place of torment that all evil people will burn in) and death (mortality) will be thrown into a lake of fire, but isn't Hell a place of fire so to speak?

smoke4ever: Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then He said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."

He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.

He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son.

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."


Revelation chapter 21 verses 1-8

smoke4ever: i could have summed it up as:
There will be no more sin.

smoke4ever: We wont be reborn as infants again.
By the way, the phrase: "born again Christian" simply means that you grow in faith in Jesus Christ.
I don't know what age everyone will be, but your body won't die because there will be no more death.
You will have a perfect body, no flaws, but you will still be you not to be confused with what the "What Dreams May Come" movie says.

Don't expect any sort of meaningful exchange of ideas with smoke. He's demonstrated repeatedly that all he's capable of is quoting scripture in lieu of any sort of intellectual discourse.

smoke4ever: Jesus went to a town called Nain, and His disciples and a large crowd went along with Him.

As He approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out--the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her.

When the Lord saw her, His heart went out to her and He said, "Don't cry."

Then He went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still.
He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!"

The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.


Luke chapter 7 verses 11-15
