Barry White, Teddy Pendergast, Marvin Gaye, Luther van Dross, people like that. And I gotta mention the Carpenters. The musical is based on the book Wuthering Heights. The song is Be With Me Always Corwin: You'd think that people would have had enough of silly love songs.... I look around me and I see it isn't so. Paul McCartney is responsible for some of the greatest love songs of all time — so many, in fact, that his former Beatles band mate John Lennon slammed him in an interview, saying that all Paul ever wrote anymore were silly love songs.
