Trance addicts !!! MsTrance: Hey trance addicts!! I am really, REALLY addicted to trance music, I love it with all my heart, it is my passion. Armin van Buuren is my all time favorite dj...and many more. I am new to this web site, but I thought to myself "maybe thru this web site I can meet more trancers because in my area (not really my area because I'm from Europe, but have been living here for the passed 7 years), no one knows what trance is, and that sucks a lot because I love going to trance concerts and having a blast! So anyone who is in the same situation, or just wants to expand their trance family can feel free to add me. :-) TRANCE ON, guys! =] Share your favorite tunes as well! MrSteveA67: I've liked electronic music but only recently picked up on trance ... yes, definitely got thumbs up and Armin Van Buuren is excellent too. Been mixing it up and have been listening to some classical too (I've notice some trance has classical themes too and that can be a nice combo too). Lots of great tunes, but this was one of the first songs that got me searching for more trance songs: MrSteveA67: Here's a song I remember hearing as a teenager that got played over and over and over again and was probably a lot of what got me interested in electronic music. It's not trance per se, but it was unique 'back in the day' and got a lot of people interested: A more mellow composer of electronic music that I've enjoyed is Ray Lynch: Above and Beyond has lots of great trance songs: This one you should open up on YouTube and watch in high definition as the photography is excellent too: MrSteveA67: ... sorry can't resist ... one more DJ Tiesto (here's one of those pieces that reminds me of classical influences. Awesome chord progression in it and it looks like the audience is enjoying it as much as he does ... guess it really doesn't matter what style of music it is if people enjoy it, but still I've got my personal preferences and this has been on my replay list ) Ok, now I'll stop spamming the thread Have fun MrSteveA67: Glad you enjoyed sampling a few selections. Yes lots of good music around and YouTube's one of my musical drugs of choice Here's another one by Above and Beyond for you. Enjoy MrSteveA67: Oops, once again found it tough to resist posting more . I know not all these are specifically trance tunes, but they seem similar and I just saw this one on YouTube. Cute and clever video along with some interesting music: Another electronic piece I found recently that seems experimental (to me) and stuck is this. (I built some laser light show equipment that generated images resembling this) Just having fun popping up some links ... thank you for posting the thread, MsTrance. Hopefully, I'm not drifting too far off the intended topic but it's fun sharing musical finds. MrSteveA67: No need to listen to all these. I'm just putting more finds up as I've been having some fun searching today (of course, tastes can vary but I enjoyed these) MrSteveA67: I really enjoyed that "Lifted" link. Thanks for the additions And once again a piece by Ray Lynch ... no, it's not trance, but what the hey, listen for a few seconds and if it works for you, great, if not, no biggie. That's something cool about music OmnicroN_2017: One of my all time favorites from A&B, then again i love all their tracks haha. Here's an amazing mashup they made that i got the privilage to hear live from them at Electric zoo 2010 in NYC!!! (Edited by OmnicroN_2017) MrSteveA67: Looks like you guys upped the bar Yes, Above and Beyond has lots of great music and that link by Armin with Sophie is one I posted on another music thread here too along with this: MrSteveA67: Alright, get a mixer and sampler. I'll get a synth, and a friend of mine would love to do the lasers and lighting. Any volunteers for a singer or audience? Then we be jammin'! Maybe technology's still good for something? MrSteveA67: And if you'll forgive a semi-repeat, I made a mistake and this was actually the link I posted on the music thread before. It's a mix/mashup of both Apollo Road and Ecstasy: MrSteveA67: A work of art ... might have to consider cutting back on the music addiction too, but I still love it. Imagine if noone had ever sung a note or tapped a beat Can't let a good song go to waste: MrSteveA67: My daughter just showed this to me ... once again, I know 'trance' isn't necessarily a good definition for it, but either way it's plain cool: (Post deleted by OmnicroN_2017 ) | Music Chat Room 21 People Chatting Similar Conversations |
