Even though more global places are being lenient with it (such as Uruguay) there is still a large amount of people uncomfortable with it. So putting it edible is one more step. Costs more money to produce. Probably an even smaller market for it. When people want to get high they want to get high now not in 30 minutes. Just be happy it's legal somewhere.

Stopped during the 80's because making money and seeking status was my main focus. It was the Reagan anti-drug era. Now I'm retired and I smoke medical marijuana because prescription drugs are very expensive. I've found the pot has replaced many of the drugs I thought were necessary. Pain, anxiety, sleeplessness were 3 ailments I had prior to medical marijuana. If they come back I can spot-treat my ailments with pot, while prescription drugs often must be taken daily to keep the saturation levels up in the blood; and our livers must filter them constantly. The original campaign against marijuana in the USA was funded by a drug company, and I'm convinced the drug companies are still against the legalization because it cuts into their profits. I'm real sorry if some drug company CEO will have to drive a Cadillac next year instead of a Mercedes. Metaverseguy: It's not that they want to drive a Mercedes. They want to drive a Bentley or a Rolls Royce and own (not rent) property on the beach somewhere. HSBC transferred millions into their banks via laundering that they admitted was from illegal drugs. Meanwhile, plenty of suckers that risked their lives selling drugs in crappy neighborhoods for nothing are in jail practically indefinitely. I just read Flavor Flav spent 5 million on cocaine over 2 years. There's no way local police didn't know about that. I'm not a supporter of legalization. Once big corporations get involved it's going to be all profit orientated. What if they buy up 100 hectacres of wheat fields and try and grow marijuana on fertile soil? Quarter of the country could starve. Metaverseguy: I saw a post on reddit the other day. They made so much profit from legalization in Colorado and Washington that they were able to put it back into education. Hopefully to teach young students how to live a life where you don't need to toke up everyday. Most of the user posts are completely biased praisings of the drug where it's labelled a panacea and an economy booster. If it's on the ballot for legalization in California I won't vote for it. It's easy enough to get a medical marijuana license even if you want to smoke it recreationally.  wargypsi2014: I love to smoke pot.
