Imperfect_Perfection: My mother was diagnosed with squamious cell carcinoma a little over a year ago. She had to have bone and tissue removed from her face and nose. She went though cemo and radiation and it seems they successfully removed all of the cancer. She had to have more reconstructive surgery in December to try to repair the damage done from removing the cancer.It has been over four years since I have seen mother, and I miss her greatly. I am so proud of her for staying strong during this difficult time. I hope to be as strong as mother one day. <3

@ Nico .. yes, so much pain and yet I meant that he didn't suffer long (It's a hard battle - any cancer)

miss gege: i only met bruce a few times, but he was a friend of Tim, they were "#1, and #2 paternal grandchildren born to carry on Walker name.....Tm was quite upset.....they used to always play cards with the "walker men" but then of course came tim's family and it became a call, an email etc. bruce never married........Tim feels guilty he wasn't there enough....but he'll be ok because Uncle Bud (bertram) said that bruce always thought the best of tim and he joked saying he could have got off his sorry ass and visited Tim for once......families.....gotta love 'em

@ Pure... agreed about so much pain. A battle with cancer is one that no one ought to face.

rbnprov: Lost my mom to cancer when i was 14. Lost my next door neighboor and cousin yr before last. I have 3 neighbors that have it and a coworker that is battling cancer and a coworker who died last year of cancer. :-/
